Is that white paint on an otherwise lovely table? That looks like the "snowflakes" I used to cut out of notebook paper and tape all over my parents' windows.
I just feel like everything they do is like a failed project from that old design show where you swapped rooms with your neighbor and the insane designers did things like make your living room look like an authentic yurt, only with more fabulous textiles. Remember that show?
They always did shit like this, like stenciling up all the furniture and etc and it always looked on-the-fly and vaguely cheap.

Trading Spaces! I loveed that show and the random ass designs that came from it. I remember one where they hot glued hay to the walls.
That was Hildy, right? I used to love that show. lolz

Haha yes! I think Hildy (sp?) was the designer on that one. Vern was my favorite on that show.

I make fun of them but I generally still like them. However, this is atrocious. I actually opened the blog this morning and thought "please let someone post this on ML". That table was an awesome find and had so much potential and then that happened.
They always talk about how John still networks so he can go back to work if the blog ends. Maybe Sheri needs to go back to work though. His projects are a lot less "WTF were you thinking" and helpful than hers.
That was my first thought. I'd have killed everyone involved DEAD if they did that shit to my house. DEAD DEAD DEAD. I would love a "where are they now" on that episode.

I would have been DEAD DEAD DEAD. Having horrible allergies has it's up side when you live on a farm - zero time spend hauling hay.
That table is seriously ugly now. I get that it might have been too far gone to just leave it, but at that point they should have just painted it a solid color. The lines of it don't go with the room anyway. Hideous.
