My nana and grandpa had separate bedrooms, I think one of them snored like a freight train. Supposedly, it was the key to their successful marriage. Go nana and grandpa!
My parents, too! It's my dad who snores and gets up super early. My mom is also a really light sleeper.
I don't really move in my sleep. Whenever I've had my own bed (whether it was the twin at college, the full in NY, or my current queen), at least half the bed is frequently covered with random stuff. Right now it's a couple textbooks, my research for the paper I should be writing right now, and some clothes.
Cats are good sleeping companions. Soft, warm, not too heavy, and they purr--how soothing is that?
My husband is such a bed hog. We have a queen and he likes to sleep on his left side, curled like the letter 'C' with a big fat pillow between his knees....right in the center of the bed. I have to constantly nudge him to move over because I have no room to lay on flat my back without him touching me. I just don't like being touched or snuggled with when I'm trying to sleep, I wake up hot from his body heat and I don't like feeling sweaty and sticky at 3am. I wish we had a king size bed.

I haven't really slept alone since I was 20 years old. I sort of love it when DH isn't around and I can sleep in a bedroom without anyone else. However, I don't want that every night. I like having him near most of the time.
But, I always sleep terrible the first night away from him - not sure why but it might also be b/c I'm usually at a hotel for work and I don't have cable, so I binge cable watch that first night.

So you've never woken up with cat anus on your face?
haha, no, but I could see how that might happen.
My boy cat has tried a number of different positions but recently has settled on sleeping in the nook under my armpit. His butt is on the bed and his front-half draped over my chest.
