This is for moms of boys (D is circumcised if that matters): sometimes his penis gets 'pushed in' so to say. When I use a wipe, bath, or washing him, it sort of just goes back...is this normal or is it something I should worry about?

My vote is normal - DSs does this all the time esp in the bath. It almost disappears lol
On the bottle, it says the baby should be crawling with her belly off the floor. Is your DD doing that? If not, I'd wait.
I feed DD small chunks of really steamed sweet potato and butternut squash. She eats it off my finger and likes it. It took her a minute to figure out the different texture. Maybe you could try that? I'm also hesitant to just give her a stick of sweet potato to feed herself, but this is working for us right now. She's also not really interested in feeding herself yet.
Yikes if we had gone by crawling, DD would have never gotten any food because she was so late with her gross motor skills! Her physical therapist recommended Cheerios to help her pincer grasp (she was in b23 at this point) and while she was very stable sitting unassisted she couldn't move by herself nevermind crawl.
DS was the same way didn't crawl until 12 months, but could sit and eat well around 8 months. DD is now 7 months and we are giving her puffs, she loves to feed herself. She gagged a little the first couple tries, but now has it down. Really I don't go by the package, I go by what feels right to me and my child.
DS has all sorts of black crud under his fingernails. It doesn't go away when we clip them, and I can't seem to get it with a washcloth. Is this just a lost cause that I should resign myself to living with until he's older?
I make a halfhearted effort to clean out the crud using my fingernails every couple days. I'm not sure if there's an easier way.
I just tried again, and was able to get some out, so that's good. I had visions of his nails being like this for the next 5 years or so
We're going to hit some yard sales in the next few weeks to look for outdoor toys. (Cozy coupe, little slide, etc). Any reason NOT to buy these things used?
If you BF and had a new baby soon after you weaned, did your older child remember nursing and want to nurse? X will be weaned before he's 1 it's looking like. He'll be 15 months when the new baby comes. H asked me if X will remember nursing and want to do it again. I assume no since he's young, but I really have no idea.
I weaned DS at 27 months. DD was born when he was just over 3. He doesn't seem to remember nursing at all. I've even told him a few times that I nursed him when he was a baby. But he doesn't seem to have any recollection of it and had no interest in nursing.
He did try to nurse DD when we first let him hold her. It was so adorable. He pointed to his nipples and said one had milk and the other had Apple juice.

The first time I saw ds's penis do that I freaked and called my husband. Totally a normal thing. Now I call it turtle penis.
Would it be worth taking a 4 month old to the zoo? We have to go anyways for an event but are considering going early to show him the animals

If you like the zoo then yes, fun outing. If you don't personally love zoos, then it's probably a waste of time as he will likely sleep through much of it.

DS's penis is like that a lot. DH has asked the pedi 3 times about it. It's usually hidden.
