I hate balloons. I'm a killjoy too when it comes to balloons. They are bad for environment and they are wicked choking hazards after they pop. I had to be a buzz kill at preschool when balloons were on the list of what was needed for the party. Nope, no there won't be balloons. It says right on the package not to give under 8 years old. Am I the only one who can read?
I'm currently driving home from a mini vacay (work trip for DH) and we are going through Mennonite country. It's so fascinating to me. I couldn't do it for a week and they always live, willingly, without any modern conveniences.
Also, taking a 2.5 week old baby and a toddler on holidays is exhausting.

I did decided to come for the far away shower I mentioned a few weeks ago. I'm glad I ended up coming.
I also gained a riding buddy going back, as my cousin is going with me to see her dad's family that lives by me. Think I can make her drive the whole way!
That's great, voodoo! I have big plans today that involve chocolate chip cookies and candied bacon. I'm a religious flosser, though! Lol
Ohh, tell me more about your candied bacon. I have a friend who makes the Ina Garten caramelized bacon and it is crazy good, even if it looks like poop.
Carl and I now have the puke-and-shits from the plague that will not die (going since the 4th). The kids are at full energy. I'm afraid not everyone will survive.

I got drunk at brunch with friends and we watched Burlesque (with Cher). It has been glorious. DH was here for a while but had to go home so my dad is picking me up.

I was handling jalapeƱos earlier and despite washing my hands immediately my fingers are burning. I really need to bring some gloves home from work.
I'm hoping this doesn't cause a catastrophe when I go to put my make up on later.
I know I'm way late on this, but try soaking them in milk.
My random, we had one showing on our house today and got no feedback yet. We have another tomorrow just after lunch. I'm kind of annoyed at the timing because I have to leave work to go hide the dogs or leave them in their crates outside all day. Not exactly ideal. Who shops for houses in the middle of the day on a weekday?

Good luck!
The he dog issue has been a big thing for us too. Fortunately, I'm not working now and can generally get hike if I'm not there it take the dog out, but other times if we knew about a showing, I'd have him stay with our dog walker.

We don't have a dog walker We considered boarding, but that's really only an option if we know before they close the night before because we have to leave for work by 6:30am. If the inspection is scheduled on a day we have to work, I may do that though because it will be a few hours. Today we went to the park for awhile then when it threatened to rain, DS and I went into the grocery store while DH sat in the car with the dogs. Thankfully it wasn't terribly hot thanks to the clouds/rain.

Yeah, that's tough.
Hopefully, it won't be on the market long, so you don't have to worry about this for too long.

Honestly, you just part a healthy dose of brown sugar on each slice and bake until crispy. Easy peasy.
