I sent an email about a Christmas tree someone posted on CL. $15 for a 6.5ft Martha Stewart tree! I hope I get it. I left my old Christmas tree behind at my house when I moved out and goodness knows what exH did with it.
I have a date tonight. We are trying a restaurant new to both of us, so if the date flops, at least I'll have gotten to try this restaurant, lol.
This morning I was digging through a drawer and found some skincare samples that I forgot I had! I'm excited to try them (Clarins eye cream, Clarins primer, Lancome Youth serum).

Good morning!
I woke up a few minutes before my alarm today, and I actually feel rested. That doesn't happen very often, so it's a nice change! I hung out in bed, watched America's Next Top Model, and worked on a painting yesterday. I didn't do any of the houses things I could have worked on, but it was so nice to do nothing for a day! Feeling ready for the work week.
I woke up a bunch of times overnight, but it was because children were forcing me into odd positions.
I need to get a new tree for our house too. I left the old one and all of the lights at the old place. I have our ornaments, but no tree or lights. LOL. We have space for a bigger one though, so I am excited. And no stbx to be all "Those aren't OUR ornaments, so we're not using them".
I'm the only one in the office today, should be exciting.
I can't remember the last time I slept well. I keep waking up with pain/numbness in my right shoulder/arm. Good times. The MD said it was ligament stuff but I'm starting to wonder if that's really what it is.

I couldn't fall asleep last night. I don't think I fell asleep until almost 4am. My alarm went off at 4:45am, but I decided to go to the lunch class today instead of the 6am class. Not sure if the extra 45 minutes of sleep was worth it. I dressed really cute today, but I haven't put on any makeup, so I'm 50/50 on my appearance today.
I had an incredibly lazy day yesterday. It was pretty nice. I binge watched The Killing. And that's about it. Haha
Today would have been my 7th anniversary. I was only reminded of this via the Time Hop app. Funny how much things can change.
Tonight, wax appointment, and hopefully going to my parents to wash my car. I'm also hoping Mom's making something yummy for dinner that I can partake in.

I was really tired from tennis and everything hurt yet I could not fall asleep until 12 30am. I wake up early and need a lot of sleep so today is going to be so much fun!

I'm fighting off a cold that someone had during a meeting I went to last week. It's not so bad so far so fingers crossed that it stays that way. This week should be fairly low key but I need to be in good health next week. As long as it doesn't turn into a bad lingering cold, I will be fine.
BF is in Iceland this week. I am very jealous though I am enjoying the summer here to the extent that I can. I am probably going to try to chill out most of this week when not working.
Oh, another positive is that I paid off my car. That's a great feeling.

I was on business in Charleston all last week, finally back and getting back into my normal "working from home" groove.
On Saturday I met P's kids! We went to the lake w/ his brother, sister-in-law, and nephew too. I was SO nervous right before meeting them but it went really well! I had gotten them all little souvenirs from Charleston and they liked them. When we all got back into the car to leave at the end of the day P went to sit in between his daughter and me and she goes..."noooo, I want to sit next to her!" and made him switch seats with me lol. We're taking things really slow though, and probably will plan another little outing the 4 of us in a few weeks or maybe end of August, but this was encouraging.

Good morning/afternoon now in some places
I am exhausted. My sleep had been really poor for the last 6-8 months but looked as though it'd turned a corner in the last week. Well, it was just the one week. I haven't slept well since Friday night. Pretty much up 1-2 times per hour. Plus, I work both my jobs today. NAP.
I went this weekend, though, and applied for a different part-time job and have an interview set up for Thursday evening. My current part-time job is at my grandparent's deli. I started in 2009 and was supposed to be there temporarily.....uh huh. The one I've applied for is for cocktail serving and would be much more financially beneficial. I hate to leave my grandparent's though

I'm taking a short vacation this weekend (Thurs - Sun) so it's a short week for me, woohoo!! My BFF is coming into town and we are going to drive to her parents vacation condo in southern Nevada for a relaxing weekend. Lots of pool time, a spa day, and just catching up. I'm so excited!
I fell asleep early last night but was woken up by nasty storms and then my power went out. Of course I was wide awake after that.
Today, I ran some errands while DD was at morning preschool. Now she is napping and I am tempted to take one myself. But really, I should be working on my household budget and collecting documentation for our mediator.m

Ugh this sucks. I have this in my wrist due to deQuervain's. It's bad. I hate it. I can't sleep on my right side without my arm totally falling asleep. Could be a nerve thing? That's my medical expertise.
I don't know? I often have the whole numbness in my right wrist/hand but it's because of carpal tunnel. This is a little different...it's not just that falling asleep feeling, it's also painful. I've tried to sleep differently and used pillows to change my position and it's every night. It is no fun.

doriswe, is it like little lightning bolts? Might still be a nerve thing, but in your elbow. I had that in my had last year, one of our docs checked me out informally and basically told me I needed to sleep with my arm stretched out. Curling it up was messing with the nerve in my elbow and making it angry--hence lightning bolts and twitches in my ring and pinky fingers.
Lol! He asked if we "could go around". Did I just prove that I'm old?
Interesting! What did you say?!?!
I didn't really respond. We are planning on spending next weekend together (I will have been gone for 12 days, need to make up for lost time!) So we will talk more then.
I would be open to it but I want to make sure we are on the same page.

Hi ladies! Back from vacation and glad to be home. I don't think I'll ever do two separate week-long vacations that are back-to-back ever again. One vacation that lasts 2 weeks...maybe.
Hi ladies! Back from vacation and glad to be home. I don't think I'll ever do two separate week-long vacations that are back-to-back ever again. One vacation that lasts 2 weeks...maybe.
I did this once and it was exhausting. I felt like I needed another week off to recover from all of my vacationing. Hope you went somewhere fun and had a great time!
I'm really annoyed with the people who are like "You can't be alone for a minute" when I've been single for 6 months. I don't really count 1 month guy because we saw each other every other weekend for a month. So what's that? 4 days? Okay. Yet other posters are all "I have a date with M tonight and X tomorrow and then I'm going to concert with YZ on Saturday!" If it's not okay for one it shouldn't be okay for any.
And you all could read this and ignore it. It's cool. I know the drill by now.
