linz 2 placentas, so they said they're working under the premise that they're fraternal. I was sort of confused because I thought that ensured fraternal so I have to clarify at my next appointment.
1. How far along are you this week? 27 weeks tomorrow! 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I seem to be gaining all of my weight in the second trimester :? I have gained a total of 20 pounds, 18 of them in the second trimester. I'm hoping I'll slow down in the third tri like I did with my daughter! Goodness! At least my stomach is looking larger now and I look more pregnant now!
3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I do not plan to make anything because I'm not crafty, but my husband's grandma is planning on making some receiving blankets and burp cloths and my mom is making him a blanket (she already made my daughter a new one and gave it to her and she loves it!).
4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? I'm not entirely sure. Maybe when I started to feel him consistently and strongly. I've also noticed he's most active at 8:30am and 11:30pm. I can pretty much tell you what time it is based on when he's super active/kicking me really strongly.
I think it just got real. 8 weeks less than 2 months. Holy crap. Holy crap. With being pgal I think has taken me a lot longer to get real. I've been focusing on being pg, but not that I actually get a baby at the end. I'm starting to freak out a bit.

1. How far along are you this week? 21 weeks tomorrow! 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? This baby is a mover! Such an amazing feeling to feel him/her moving around in there. I also now look visibly pregnant, not just fat. Holla!! 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I plan to go over the top with the "baby suite". I love interior design, decor and all things domesticity, so my mom and I can get crackin' once we know the sex of this baby. I plan on crown molding, wall paper, wainscoting, custom draperies, etc. Call me crazy, but I've been looking forward to this for a long time. 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? When baby started moving at 19 weeks. Also, when my sister brought over some baby clothes this weekend...she just couldn't wait any longer to go shopping! Seeing baby stuff accumulate in our house makes me think "holy shit!"
1. How far along are you this week? 39 weeks, 4 days :-# 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? went to the dr. Friday and I am dilated 1 cm and 80% effaced and she's confident it will happen soon! Hoping she's not just getting our hopes up, lol 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I am making a mobile like in the picture, but with custom figures I had made of our dogs from someone on Etsy and colored balls that match her room. They are so cute! I'm actually planning on putting it together tonight! Attachment Deleted 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? It still feels really surreal, but I guess it's gotten really real lately with my huge belly and the nursery complete.
2. I just HAD to have a rocking bear from PBK when we were there. I had a coupon for 20% that day only and I got another 20% to take the floor model since they were out. Saved $55
3. I taught myself how to knit awhile back and I'd like to make a hat.
4. Seeing baby on US was huge but these past couple of weeks, seeing my belly get bigger, has made this very real.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Viability! So happy to know that if baby comes, he could survive. Obviously I don't want to meet him for at least three months, but it's good to know that we are at that point.
My vent is that my mid/upper back has been hurting and makes it hard to get to sleep. My Snoogle and stretching both help immensely, but still, it feels too early for back pain.
3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I don't think so. I'm not very crafty.
4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? I think I've had stages of realization, thanks to stupid PGAL brain... My 10 week ultrasound was the first time I actually believed that there was a real baby in there. After my NT scan at 13 weeks, I started believing that the baby was healthy and this pregnancy might last. And between the baby starting to move at 16-17 weeks and my anatomy scan at 19 weeks, I felt more bonded to the baby, like "there is a real baby boy inside me and I'm going to meet him in November!"
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week?
I failed my one hour glucose test last Monday, but I passed the 3 hour w/ flying colors! Yay!
3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby?
I am not super crafty, but I may try to make some nursery art.
4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? Honestly, it still doesn't always feel real. I was so anxious the first 20+ weeks, that I never let myself think that I was really going to have a baby, in case something happened. It sank in a little when I calculated the days left and was in the low 100's. Then it became, "holy shit, I need to do something to prepare for this kid, because it could really come!" I have been feeling it move so much more in the past few weeks, which has also helped it feel more real.
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I am full-term! I think I'm going to get really neurotic on Friday, my first day of ML, with overanalyzing every feeling.
3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? Haha. I'm not really a DIY-er.
4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? I guess when strangers started congratulating me. I was like "for what?"
1. 18 weeks 5 days 2. I had my anatomy scan at 17 weeks and it was still to early to see all of the parts of the heart and they found out I have a marginal placenta previa. I have another U/S this Fri at 19 weeks to recheck those things. I'm so excited to see the baby again, especially since I'm still not feeling any movement. The only issue is our insurance is not great and we end up paying $130 for each U/S and this will be my 4th one so far this pregnancy! 3. I made a scrapbook style baby book for DD for her first year and I plan on making one for this baby too. I'm not all that crafty so that will be it! 4. It still doesn't seem that real to me and I'm almost half way done! I think I started to feel more excited once DD was aware of the pregnancy and she talks to the baby constantly!
1. How far along are you this week? 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you?
1. 22 weeks
2. I went home to see my family this weekend, and my Mom was so cute. She is SO excited. She pulled out at least 5-6 huge boxes of baby clothes she had saved from when we were little. There was actually some really good stuff in there, including some little cotton sleep sacks and smocked dresses that she wore. She washed it all up and sent it home with us, so now I have bags of baby clothes sitting in what will be the nursery...crazy.
3. I don't think so. I am the opposite of crafty.
4. I'm not sure if it does yet. Hearing the heartbeat and seeing the baby in there at the dating U/S at 9 weeks was amazing, and I definitely got less anxious and more excited to tell people after I was out of the first trimester.
1. 8 weeks 2. I have my first appointment on Weds! Hooray! I am so excited to see my midwife - she was one of my favorite parts about being pregnant with DD! 3. I made a crib skirt, drapes, boppy covers, and a few other little things when DD was born, but I don't think I'll have time/energy for many projects this time. 4. It's still not. Feeling sick and exhausted and bloated should do it for me, but I think it will take that rock hard belly pop or some movement to make me feel really pregnant. Hearing the HB this week might do the trick.

1. 10 weeks and 2 days. 2. We had another ultrasound this morning. Baby was moving around and looks more like a baby and less like a blob! 3. I'm sure I will make stuff, but no idea what yet. 4. Nothing feels real yet and I'm trying not to let it until after we get the all clear in a few weeks. Really looking forward to that time!
2) We're going away for the next 2 nights (driving distance) and I'm thinking of not taking the Snoogle. Mistake?
Oh man, your post just made me realize that I won't be able to take my Snoogle with me to my brother's wedding at the end of August since we are flying. We'll be there for five days I might have to carry that baby on the plane with me, even if I look ridiculous.
3. I made a scrapbook style baby book for DD for her first year and I plan on making one for this baby too. I'm not all that crafty so that will be it!
That reminded me that I'm making 2 baby books also. It ended up being pretty easy. Just bought 2 scrapbook albums, typed my own pages up based on other books I've seen and what I wanted, then pasted those pages on scrapbook paper and added stickers. It was a lot cheaper then buying them and I liked that I could have the pages I want, rather then some of the pages that I have no interest in filling out.
1. 35 weeks on Thursday. 2. I decided against the version procedure to turn baby if she is still breech at my appointment next week. I'm trying a few of the exercises on spinning babies but will otherwise let nature take its course. If she does not turn on her own, then my csection will be scheduled one month from today..ah! 3. No, not personally. Thinking about it, I feel kind of bad now realizing that my husband, MIL, and FIL have all made something for her. Buy hey, I made her, that should trump everything 4. I had a defining moment very early. Around 6 weeks, I was bleeding heavily and went to the ER. I was absolutely convinced it was another m/c and I refused to even look at the screen when the u/s tech was doing his thing. When he found the heartbeat, he turned the screen and said "Look, mom. Look at your baby. There's the heartbeat." I couldn't believe there she was. OUR baby, perfectly fine. Even H got teary in that moment. And now I'm crying again, lol.
Blue Moon, I'm glad you've made peace with your decision. I just reassure myself with maybe there's a reason she's not flipping, and I'm not going to force her to.
1. How far along are you this week? 39 weeks 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I will have a baby at this time tomorrow. Holy shit! 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? Not crafty 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? Not sure, probably when they scheduled my c/s
I remember when you got your BFP.....omg, time flies! Good luck tomorrow!!
3. I made a scrapbook style baby book for DD for her first year and I plan on making one for this baby too. I'm not all that crafty so that will be it!

That was my reasoning too. I wanted to add the information that I found relevant and would want to look back on. I was able to add all of the cards she received for her birth, baptism, holidays and such right behind some of the pictures went along with them. I went the route of typing up and printing off the info I wanted too.
1. How far along are you this week? 39w4d. This is my last Mom to Be Monday!! 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I'll be a mom this week!! Due to the GD if I don't have her before then I'll be induced on my due date Thursday!! 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I made her a kick ass nursery! But I'm not really crafty so I didn't make anything for the nursery. 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? Hmmm, well I'm delivering this week and I'm still not sure it's real! Maybe when we check in to the hospital? Or maybe when I hold her for the first time? Not sure on that.

1. How far along are you this week? 36 weeks - Thursday 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I start weekly appointments tomorrow, and have a Baby Basics class at the hospital with my H tonight. And we got the stroller done this weekend, and all of the decals for the nursery have come in.
3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I plan on doing a scrapbook for the first year, including all of the weekly pics I have taken of myself through the process. Other than that, nothing really planned. 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? Not really sure, I have moments of it feeling real, but I still have moments we it is sort of like an out of body experience, that I am watching as an outsider. It's weird and a little hard to explain, lol.
2) We're going away for the next 2 nights (driving distance) and I'm thinking of not taking the Snoogle. Mistake?

When we went on a trip and flew to our destination, I bought a zippered body pillow case at Target, and stuffed it with 2 pillows end to end at the hotel. It was good enough to get me through the 4 nights we were away. I was ~22 weeks.

1. 7 weeks 3 days. 2. I officially hate being pregnant in the summer. Even with the zofran the heat makes me feel like crap, my 2 yr old is bored and going outside just makes everything worse. 3. I assume I won't make anything. I bought evenrythong last time. I am not crafty. 4. With how crappy I've been feeling it feels pretty real already.
1. 32w 2. I'm just so miserable with the heat right now. It really is the pits. 3. Nope! 4. My son was born @ 36w, so it is definitely getting real now.
1. How far along are you this week? 36w3d 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Washed the infant seat this weekend and did a load of baby laundry. Now if he comes early, at least we have the essentials ready! 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? Roman shade. 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? Not sure it has yet.
1. 23 weeks 2. Nothing really going on... baby is super active and kicking me in the bladder on the regular. 3. Um, I'm pretty crafty but haven't came up with any projects yet. I might make a mobile. 4. Every time I see our little guy on the ultrasound moving around, I am like "whoa...."
1. How far along are you this week? 33 weeks 6 days. 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I have a growth scan on Thursday. I hope the can get at least one good picture to print so I can bring it to show my MIL this weekend when we go visit her. Nesting has started to hit. On Sunday, all I wanted to do was rearrange DS's room/the nursery and I wanted to do it right then. I knew if I asked DH to help he would say we could do it later (because he wouldn't want to get up right then). So I did it myself. And then I got stuck in the room and needed help so he had to get up anyway. It's done now so I'm happy. I'm about to go tackle some other parts of the house after this. 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I sewed a rag quilt, taggy, boppy cover, and some bibs before I stuffed up my machine. I got frustrated trying to fix it so I've given up for the time being. I'll try and fix it soon and if I can I will probably sew a few more things. 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? Now. Only 6 weeks to go and still lots to do. I'm really hoping this baby doesn't follow in it's brothers footsteps and come 3 weeks early. Closer to my due date would be nice!
1. How far along are you this week? 12 wk 1 day 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I am soooo excited to get past the 12 wk mark. This feels huge! 3. Have you, or do you plan to, make anything for the baby? I'm sure I will but I haven't yet. 4. When did this pregnancy "get real" for you? It felt much more real at our 10 wk ultrasound. To see baby doing perfect and moving around, it was the best feeling. I can't wait until our next appointment!

Little late. oops 1. 21 weeks, 6 days on Monday 2.finding out the gender today (Tuesday)and having gender reveal tonight. 3. I need to start working on the blanket, I've been making again. It won't be perfect but should be good for cuddling, and nursing. 4.I'm feeling the baby move, and just recently started feeling decided kicks, not just a general shifting feeling in my uterus. I think after the shower, when I have actual tangible baby stuff, that wasn't bought for someone else it's going to feel really, really, real.
