1. 8w 2. One doctors appointment down, one to go. I have an u/s today. 3. I plan to make the decorations/pictures for the nursery, and a few other things. (I have already made 2-3 blankets as well) 4. It's still not real, I think it won't be real until at least the 20w u/s. (Which we scheduled today for Oct 21st.)
This is my probably much-too-early intro: 1. I am 4w, 4 days after TTC for 20 months and two IUIs, and my first set of betas doubled. I get the next numbers on Friday. 2. This week's milestone was the complete shock and joy upon seeing the positive test and then getting the positive beta. 3. I am not super crafty. My mom will sew some stuff, which will be great. Maybe she can teach me while she does it. 4. I am not sure it ever will, but I feel like seeing the heartbeat will be the first "this is real" moment.
Since the post has been revived, I will follow up on some other stuff. azurely, I definitely missed the Snoogle. I am an idiot and the first night I only had one pillow, and it was pretty awful. I grabbed another for the second night and it was definitely bearable, although I think @mrsspunky's body pillow case idea is brilliant and I will use that if it comes up again.
And MrsDarcy, that dress is SO SWEET. Thanks for sharing a pic. It makes me want to make a bunch of little girl clothes for my friends' babies.

Thanks! It's super easy, and I'm a NOVICE sewer, and could complete this in about an hour or so. I loosely followed the tutorial on "A Pinch of Joy" blog, with some steps from the tutorial on "baby rabies" blog too.
