I honestly don't know. It's probably split down the middle but most of my friends are moderates on general. Not all but most. I picked 25-50 but I don't know. Most people I know are socially liberal or socially moderate though .

I am from Texas and live in Arkansas. My list of liberal friends/family members/acquaintances is much shorter. If I refused to speak to Republicans there would probably be days I didn't talk at all.

I'm probably in the 5-15 camp. I'm not counting all the people I knew growing up in OC, CA who claim they're Republican because oh-my-god-I-can't-believe-I-have-to-pay-taxes-in-this-country. What's so funny is that my parents were so liberal that I didn't even realize Orange County was conservative until I moved away and people assumed I was one. ::Blinders::

My "work husband" is a conservative Mormon. I'm a liberal atheist. We still manage to like each other and can even talk about "stuff" without wanting to kill each other. I know it's a pretty rare dynamic, and I appreciate it.
Probably half. The majority of which originate from my hometown in SW Missouri. However, a couple of friends I'd consider the most passionate and committed liberals are from there as well.
I'd LIKE to see more independents in my circle of friends. There are a handful, though.
I have a handful of Republican friends. They're not obnoxious though. My bleeding heart liberal friends are far more annoying. My dad is a cantankerous Libertarian mostly to annoy my bleeding heart liberal sister.

I legitimately don't know. I can tell you their tastes in food, clothing, movies, books, sports, music, men and detail out personal quirks, but we don't generally talk politics or religion.

This is how my life would be if I refused to speak to liberals!
I have spent my entire life in places that are predominately liberal. Most of my family is liberal. Where I live now, it's just assumed you are liberal, and people will frequently just comment on politics to me knowing nothing about me.
There were no Republicans at my college because it was in Canada. My best friend from college married a Republican and if we lived in the same city, I'd probably know him better.
My law school was very liberal, but my best friend from there was Republican. Though, judging by her facebook statuses over the last few years, she is no longer.
There are no Republicans in my line of work, nor my husband's line of work.
I'm the lone dem in a sea of REALLY red. My parents/ILs are tea partiers, I went to a Pentecostal college, BFF used to work for a conservative GOP Senator, three friends work for Heritage Foundation/Heritage Action and one of them is married to a former policy director for the house republican conference.
Suffice it to say that I don't read my news feed on FB much.

I live in SC. I know about 2 very far left liberal people like myself IRL. Most of my liberal friends are from message boards. I'd say the majority of people I know recognize themselves as Republican (including my husband), and a good chunk as very conservative evangelical types.
