I'm not sure a new thread can live up to the old one
Not even remotely possible. Although, I didn't get to read Susie's.
It was paper-white pale in comparison.
I was bitching about a friend-turned-(hopefully temporarily)-bridezilla. Those sorts of things are often best dd'ed anyway, lest you find out the hard way that the bride is a lurker.
Nope. Kid 2 had some serious uglification going on as an infant. He had jaundice, goopy eye, baby acne, and scalp issues. It wasn't pretty and we owned it immediately.
Today is my summer associate's last day and I am ecstatic.
To continue with the Lord of the Rings theme, I referred to him as Gollum all summer when talking about him to Calvin, for the way he would creep around the halls and in my office doorway.

I'm annoyed that I apparently missed something interesting.
People told me DS was a beautiful newborn. I thought they were just being kind. After seeing many more newborns, I eventually decided that they weren't, lol. Even DD wasn't quite as good-looking at first. It helped that he came out looking like a one-month-old.
I kind of chuckle when I see v or RockNVoll on MMM. I assume they must be super bored.
This is the first thing out of DH's mouth after DS1 sprung from my loins.
My ex-MIL refused to believe that my ex-BIL (her son) was hers: "No. You brought me the wrong baby." He turned into a seriously handsome man, though.
I'm firmly in the all newborns look the same camp. And I've had two. The nurse could have brought me any baby from the nursery and I probably would have taken it home.
Lucky my wrinkly, alien like newborn turned into a cute toddler.
This is not a confession, but it made me laugh - I just spoke to my mom who was looking for a card to give as part of a gift. She was insistent on finding one that cost .97 because "They are just going to throw it away anyway!"
