"I was thinking about getting off on demand, but it sounds like I should be glad that I didn't"
H had Aliyah (spelling?) from his favorite book, Dune. He named the cat when he was really young. He was married to his first wife and she brought her home as a present. She was the only thing H really fought for in the divorce, lol. She died in 2009, she was the best cat ever.
Our other cat was Fedora. She was without a name for awhile but she always wanted to lay in this certain box top (I think it originaly came with paper or computer equipment). It had "Fedora" typed all over it so that was her name.

Neville Longbottom. I tend to go with characters I like. If we ended with an orange cat he would have been Fred Weasley.
<----- Potter Head
ETA: he was almost named Buttons Gwinnett. We took our 5th Anniversary trip to Savannah. He's someone historical to the place and we joked about how that would be an awesome pet name but Neville didn't seem like a Buttons.
