I dropped my kid and her lice off at a play date. I did warn the mom that there are still nits, and put her hair up and she has a headband.
I arrived 15 minutes late at my chiro appt with two kids. One of which is a baby and can't sit on his own and I forgot his stroller. The receptionist is holding him for me and watching Sophia while she colours. They had told me it was fine to bring them but with no stroller I pushed it to the next level.

The other mom was ok with her having nits still? She's a damn good friend, Papie, because I would've (died of embarrassment because I am shy) rescheduled the play date.
Yeah, I went against the advice of everyone here and sent my kid to a birthday party where another kid had pink eye, but NO way would I knowingly let a lice infected child in my house.
I'll admit I'm judging the shit out if you. I would have just stayed home and cancelled everything. You put the other mom in an awkward situation. I'd also tell the chiro so they can sanitize properly. And make sure you clean the car seats and car, this is how a friends kid kept getting reinfected.

Holy shit. Well, at least your post title is accurate! lol. Cancelling both the play date and chiro appointment would have really been the sane thing to do.
Also, it has come to my attention that I have the world's worst poker face. So while my words might be "sure, I guess that would be okay" my face would be doing the above
