I went to C's Back to School night and totally hit it off with his little BFF's mom and already creepy stalked/friended her on FB. Oops.
I'm already having contractions this pregnancy and it's making me nervous because I literally had none with C until I had Pitocin. I don't know if it's normal and can wait until my appointment next week or if I should call my OB. I feel like a FTM.

After months of waiting for L to be able to roll back to belly, because I knew he would sleep so well on his belly, he has now figured it out. And I am SO NERVOUS. He rolls right after I put him on his back. Ughhh.

I was just telling DH a story about my coworker spazzing out today. He told me I was voicing her just like I do with "chick" when I read Chick 'n' Pug. LOL
Fucking molars, dude. So many wake ups, and I really need a good night's sleep.
On another note, H and I have pretty much decided that his mom is no longer going to be watching C by herself. She watched him on Saturday night from 6:30pm-1:30am. When we got home she fucking had him awake on the couch with her, and said that he wasn't crying or anything, but she "kept looking at him because he was so cute, and he was awake so she picked him up." Um, no. Oh yeah, and she was about 8 beers deep, apparently, because H found the cans. He was livid.
Aren't you supposed to drink water and lay on your left side? See if they go away? Dr. Google tells me that Braxton-Hicks can start 6 weeks into your pregnancy but most people don't feel them until mid-pregnancy at the earliest. I guess I would probably call and ask a nurse, just to be sure.
I feel like crap and H is gone tonight. I am looking forward to starfishing the bed in about 10 more minutes.

I'm sorry, glitzy07. My dad is an alcoholic (recovering) and it's hard. ((hugs))

Brie , do you know if #2 is a boy or girl? I thought you posted it was a boy, but then I saw in another thread today that you were waiting to find out.
We took the girls to a waterpark today for dd1's 6th birthday tomorrow. I managed to get sunburned on the top two inches of my thighs and a weird spot on the back of one arm. But neither of the girls got burned so I figure it is a success.
Today is also our 9th anniversary. We never realize it is our anniversary since dd1's birthday is a day later and kind of overshadows it.
sjh722 Thank you. My dad is also an alcoholic and is totally the reason we don't let him watch C alone. H told his mom that after this incident, but he hasn't had a chance to have a real conversation with her about it yet. I'm letting him take the lead on all of that.
I fed DD her cereal and an ounce of formula around 6, then dragged her to Whole Foods to buy some jars of applesauce and some other new fruits and veggies. We stopped by Shop Rite for a few minutes and found the same brand of jar food costs about 30 cents less there, but they didn't have the applesauce. Got home by 7:40, bathed her, diaper, slathered in Aquaphor, stuffed her into a zippered sleeper and had a bottle in her mouth by 7:55. By 8 pm she was asleep.
She cried herself awake at 8:40 due to a burp I think, but I patted her back to sleep.
If this sequence of events results in her going to bed around 8 pm each night, I will believe in the power of the bedtime routine and promise to never ever make fun of it again. I don't think I can go to Whole Foods every night so I'll just start the routine with the bath.

We got a guess at our NT scan that it's another boy but we find out for sure next week!
Also people on my FB have started doing the ice bucket challenge to their dogs. WTF? That makes no sense. Dogs have no money and don't need to be aware of human diseases.
DH's (childless) cousin posted an article supporting not vaccinating on Facebook. It was the worst one I've ever seen (stupidest reasons) and I pretty much just responded: No. Please vaccinate your children. To which he said, "wrong answer. Lol. [Smiley face]". Why do people think this is a laughing matter? It's not a joke. Lives are at stake here. Literally.
DD is FINALLY asleep…she has been WIRED all night. Whew. Except it's so late now that I wish I'd just gotten in to bed with her. Yawn.
Is there a 6-month growth spurt? Something has messed up her sleep (even worse than usual) lately. Or maybe it's milestone-related? We just started solids a few days ago and today she pulled up to stand by herself for the first time (OMG).
Does this help me on the breeze scale? I am not sure if J's second year molars are all in yet. She does great with tooth brushing but WILL NOT let me examine her mouth without an epic battle.
Same. I THINK the first is starting to break through but who knows.
My 8yo SS totally just sleepwalked upstairs, used the bathroom near our bedroom (as opposed to the one next door to his bedroom) and then tried to climb into the bathtub and lay down. Thank goodness he sleeps on the ground floor, but scary to think what else he could do while sleeping in the future.
Brie I bet they are Braxton hicks. I had them really early on with the girls. It is common to get then earlier with subsequent pregnancies because you uterus knows what to do this time around. You are generally also more aware with subsequent pregnancies since you have been through it before.
DS3 still only has 2 teeth. I'm sure the rest will all come at once and I will never sleep again.
This is ok, because today I gave my presentation at the conference, and I'm 3 drinks into my celebration...quietly, in my hotel room b/c DS3 is sleeping. Also, DS3 and I had a great dinner on the beach with my uncle tonight.
Wake up two. Last night and for today's nap DS did better and I realized he got a bottle of formula for each. He's not acting like he's still hungry when I nurse him before bed. He's putting himself down. Babies are crazy.
