I had one when I was an infant. I really noticed them when I was around 10. Fucking Irish hair.
Interesting, is this true? I am Irish genetically but was adopted at birth so I have no bio relatives to compare myself to. I started going gray very early.
I also read somewhere that redheads tend to go gray more quickly/earlier.
I too am Irish. My dad JUST started to really gray. Like his head was full of brown hair until just about a year ago with random grays thrown in. My mom colors her hair so I've got no idea when she started graying.
And, my husband is a redhead, and at 38, has not one gray or white hair anywhere. But I know that is not typical. But I feel like of all the redheads who have turned that I know, most turned to a really distinguished white.

29. One week before my wedding. BLAH.
I'm 36 now and it's about time I start coloring more religiously. DD1 asked me the other day if she could "paint her hair silvery and golden" just like mine. Dammit kid.
eta: wrong age. man I'm old. I can't even remember how old I was when I got married.

I don't know about the redheads, but I believe Black Irish tend to gray early.
It was sometime earlier this year, so 33/34. One very noticeable strand at the crown of my head, I'm sure it has friends lurking around somewhere on my head. I dyed my hair a bright red to get rid of them.
Early 20s. I don't have too many right now, and don't dye my hair.
I have gotten quite a few gray hairs each time after I had my kids, but I usually pull them out (I know, I know!). They don't come back...at least not white!
started in early childhood. i dye my hair every 2.5 weeks. it's beyond annoying. i have dark hair that grows insanely fast so i assume i'm a bit of a SS.

I'm 37 and have some gray along my temples, but they are not super obvious yet, so I haven't started coloring. They don't bother me much. It's my gray chin hairs that make me sad.
None on my head yet and I'm 28. I seem be growing a light mustache in dark brown though. I need to get on that. *sigh* My mom went gray in her early 20s and my dad didn't until his late 50s- early 60s. Here's to hoping I got my dad's genes.
H has some gray mustache/beard hair. None on his head yet. He's 29.
