Because her babysitter cancelled and she was in a huge bind? And I did it because I'm a good neighbor. The same neighbor who asked me to let her dogs in and out over a three-day weekend in February when they didn't bother to shovel the snow?
Well, I asked her to feed my cats on Saturday night while I was out of town for the weekend. I know my cats will make it for 48 hours, but they live 5 feet away and owe me. She said no problem. I reminded her yesterday with a text and she said again, "no problem." Well guess WHO DIDN'T FUCKING FEED MY CATS?!?
How do I know this? The can I left on the counter is still there. The dry food bowl was almost empty and they were out of water. I sent her a text at 8 pm that said "You didn't feed the cats? Is everything OK?" and have received no response. I am so pissed. Guess it will be easy to say no to whatever she asks of me next. It would have taken her (actually, it would have taken her 8 year old daughter) 3 minutes. Mom just needs to supervise the locking of the door.

Any word? I just don't comprehend this level of bullshit. We asked the neighbor to borrow her potato masher. I returned it with a jar of jam for her trouble. Why is it hard to not be an asshole???
