I started my day with a confetti bomb on my desk from my co-worker, my sister emailed me an article of Benjamin Mackenzie in a wifebeater a la The O.C. days, my boss got me a cake and brought in ice cream, and then H gave me cards after work from him, DD, and the cats. This one is my favorite, because it perfectly sums up my relationship with this cat, lol.
The sassy pug gif pretty much describes my supervisory life right now. I'm supposed to "clean up" the accountability, and I feel like all of the staff members are the pug.
Movie night tonight. I'm on the PTA board so we ended up planning the thing in the last few weeks. Turns out one of our movies (that was picked by others while I was out of town...and I'm the one with access to the licensing website) wasn't covered by the licensing agreement, so I had to research and find out who covered it and get a license. Then make the signs. I went to do them last night but got a call from the health room and Kidlet has a bladder infection and we were at the doctor's until late, then DH didn't get home from work until 11:30 so I ended up waking up super early this morning to get at least two primary banners out. Then back to school to hang signs inside. Hang signs up in the neighborhood, go out and buy the movie I don't own because I said I'd provide the movies (I wanted to get it and it's a good excuse) and now running off to do set-up with the girls, who want to bring a friend to school/movie night.
Yes, I really did have this much taken today and H wonders why I'm bitchy when he asks about me not doing anything when I got home after driving an hour back from my appointment. Just fuck right off H. Eats moar carbs.
My next door neighbor is blasting techno music while her dogs are outside barking their heads off 10 feet from our bedroom window. It's usually such a quiet neighborhood.
jenny1980 are you still doing the Whole30? I'm about to start it again (I did it this past spring).
I technically did a whole 26 lol. Actually, the glass of wine tonight was the only "cheat" I've had. I plan to stay grain and refined sugar free and add back in small amounts of dairy and booze on the weekends.
I was down almost ten pounds when I weighed myself this am, so I am definitely stoked about the whole thing! I really have no desire to go back to my old way of eating.
Good for you! I've always found that a little bit of wine with grain-free did wonders for me. I'm starting the Whole 30 (with 7oz of wine on the weekend) again on Monday. I did it once before with great results.

If your up for it, I'd love to hear your meal plans. Or just a general "what you eat".
I mostly do the hot plates in Well-Fed. I cook up a bunch of veggies, and proteins and mix them with the sauces in the recipe book(Thai sauce, stir fry sauce, etc). We also slice up a bunch of fruit and keep it in small containers to grab and go. W go through about 3 dozen eggs a week, boiled and used for frittatas (I use the protein and veggies in the frittata). To me this is easier than cooking one meal a night. We just have stuff ready, however, we do have to cook quite a bit.
