Remember yesterday when I asked if Too Faced chocolate and N2 were the same. Well H just told me he didn't get me N2 for my bday. His reason...I have been buying other stuff lately (NYX) so he figured I didn't really want it anymore.
Now I either have to wait until Xmas to get chocolate or decide to spend my own money on the palette. WHY DOESN'T HE FOLLOW MY LIST. GAH! I better be getting something good instead.

I just sucked it up and bought it. The link someone posted upthread a bit was too good to pass up. $29!
I know people have already mentioned UD Naked Skin, but I've also heard good things about Neutrogena Healthy Skin. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the two have similar formulas and finishes.
Thank you!
Does Neutrogena test on animals? I try to stick to cruelty-free, but would love to go cheaper if they're both similar and CF.

Chocolate and UD2? Please tell me I missed one for UD2.

@elizabethbennet - Thank you anyway, though. I'm hopeful that more companies will be moving toward CF. There are so many nice products I miss out on. I'm a little flexible on it as I still buy a few products that are otherwise CF but sell in China.
SallyJ where in CO do you live? Because I would like the name of your eyebrow person please
I live in the Denver Metro Area, but I don't have an eyebrow person. I am one of those lucky ones would great eyebrow shape. I just have to clean them up every week or so and then fill them in a bit with some kind of eyebrow product.
@mrsbecky, what primer did you wear? I'm looking for something new for underneath my BB cream.
Then, speaking of BB cream - isn't there a drug store one that people say is pretty good? Garnier maybe? I've been using Tarte's BB cream and love it, but just ran out and thought I remembered something being talked about that was about half the price and wondered if it was worth a shot. Apologies is this has been talked about a ton - I haven't kept up on all of the makeup threads very closely.
Not BB cream, but I use Say Yes to Grapefruit CC cream and I LOVE it. It is about $16 but a little goes a long way. redheadbaker uses it as well. Some do not like the smell but it does not bother me.
Yes, I use it in the summer. I love the smell. Sign up for Yes To emails to get coupons.

Alright, between my husband actually offering to pick me up something from "Ulta" and you hors I cannot be responsible for my lunchtime shopping.
I got the IT Naturally Pretty palette (thanks SallyJ this fills in the purple gaps I wanted out of the chocolate bar, plus some lighter everyday stuff I've been missing) and some NYX berry butter gloss to wade into something bold, plus some RT brushes.
Guys, I own two whole palettes of eye shadow. :::faints:::
It is like he tried to think...about makeup. WTF, you know nothing!!!!
Gah I have been wanting that stupid thing for 6 months. It was the top of the list. I gave you one job H. ONE JOB
Seriously. I think he needs to take some lessons from my DH-just buy a gc to Ulta, Sephora, and/or Nordstrom's. That way no one gets harmed and everyone is happy.

Who was it who said they weren't sure if they wanted N2 or chocolate bar? Because I think the answer is to buy CB with that QVC deal and buy the Coastal Scents Revealed which is a really good dupe for N2. There is a 25% off code from ipsy for Coastal Scents so you can buy the Revealed palette for like $12 bucks and if you don't think it does what N2 does (it totally does though) then you can buy N2 later and not be out that much.

That was me, the person's whose husband nixed N2 from her bday list.
I actually ended up buying N2 basic. I walked around Sephora for 45 minutes looking at what I have and what I want. I decided what I REALLY wanted was some more cool mattes. With my too faced palettes I actually have most of the shimmers in the N2 I discovered. I just tried it out and I am in love.

My geek chic order arrived!!!!!!! Omg these colors are gorgeous. I will definitely be buying more of these. my lighting in this house really sucks at night so i will swatch again tomorrow during the day with the names of the shadows.
Like 2 pages back I said I wasn't going to order Vice 3. But I just ordered Vice 3. The Limited Edition combined with the more product for the same price and Pixy's swatches swung me back over and I ordered it so I can't change my mind anymore. Now to wait impatiently for the RHPS collection and my birthday/Christmas to get more stuff.

FOT-fucking-around-Friday-night
Face: nada. Well, SPF moisturizer.
Eyes: I played with the bolder end of IT Naturally Pretty. Violet and then I think I went over it with Iconic, Noir in the crease/v and as (winged! I swear!) eyeliner. Then I highlighted with champagne truffle from CB. They're Real mascara.
Lips: some NYX butter gloss that looked more berry in the store, but now I've got a good holiday red.
So I've decided that nude lipstick just isn't my thing, am I the only one? I like lipstick and my lips too much to try to make my lips "disappear" for lack of a better word.
It's quite possible I haven't found the right color but I much prefer a nice neutral, MLBB color. I really like the Nars Coup de Coeur that I got a while back and Ulta's mineral gloss in blush crystal is another one.

Hair: not washed today
Tshirt: SF Giants 2012 World Series champs
1) you look GREAT! 2) when did you cut your hair??? I love it!
