This sea green shadow is tough...good thing it's NYE and I can get away with it. Pic to come in a bit...
I tried the look Jenni posted yesterday and it just doesn't look good on me. I look sickly. I'd like to see a full face with that look. Because it looks good up close but zoom out on the whole face and no.

I feel this way about so many of those Pinterest eye close ups! I can make the look happen but if you look at my whole face, the color just doesn't work for me.

I have questions about Rogue status. I placed an order with Sephora today and they said I need to spend $68 to get Rogue status...does that mean by the end of the year (today)? Is it worth it? Should I try to come up with $68 worth of stuff I need??? Any suggestions?
Depends. The best thing about Rouge is the no minimum for shipping. There have been a couple Rouge only promos and GWP that have been nicer than the regular GWP things. For a loyalty program, it's kind of mediocre. But it's OK. There are rumors they are overhauling it to make it better.
If there's stuff you are going to buy anyway, I'd do it now. Or stock up on foundation, skin care stuff, etc.
It was actually too sunny for this pic today!! It's a little washed out as a result.
Lid is Key West from Ulta. Took water and lots of layers. Used some pinky gold, purple and black from my Boudoir palette. Gold MJ eyeliner on top and bottom.
I'm actually more comfortable wearing this than my marsalaish shadow from yesterday or that bright red HG lip stain.
I'm also pretty sure someone saw me taking selfies in the Albertsons parking lot...

@viv, I agree with ESF, if you were going to buy that much anyway, I would just do it.
Re:concealer, I'm a Nars Radiant creamy concealer pusher since I think it looks the most natural and just melts into the skin.
The other thing I push that you could get at Sephora is the LM tightliner set.
My sister gifted me a bunch of mary kay face stuff for Christmas. So I've been slathering it all over my face for all of 2 days so far, but I have to say my skin was really noticeably smooth and soft this AM. So that's awesome. She gave me an eye gel moisturizer, a serum and deep wrinkle crap for my permanent brow furrow. and a mask, but I haven't had a chance to use that yet. the serum in particular seems to be giving me sweet baby cheeks.
Also if anybody is randomly interested in anything MK, I would love you forever if you'd PM me and I could pass you to my sister. I won't mention it again though because I know that shit could get annoying.

I have to sing the praises of Tarte maracuja oil. I've used it the last few nights, and I feel like my acne scars have faded noticeably. I'm really terrible at controlled experiments, so it could be a confluence of factors, but I'm pretty sure it's the maracuja oil. I will totally pay $100 an ounce or whatever it costs.
wawa let me know if that cures your brow furrow because mine is pretty serious. I spend too much time wearing my skeptical face.
I went to Ulta to return something and had no desire to buy anything else. This is despite my 3 month makeup buying hiatus starting tomorrow. I must be really sick!

NYE FOTD! I'm figuring out Vice 3 and loving it. This is my staying in with a cold and a bottle of Cook's face. Downfall and Undone blended in crease, Brokedown on lid, Bondage in outer corner and lower lash line, Last Sin in inner corner, and Truth and Bobby Dazzle on brown bone. I also topped the inner kid with that Cailyn eye polish from last month's ipsy.
I made my last makeup purchase of the year. It's my first MAC lipstick and I LOVE it. The name is Cyber and its a dark purple. I can't post pictures from my phone so here's a link
I tried to buy more but Clinique didn't have the colors in stock that I wanted, although I was able to get a free lipstick with a postcard Macy's sent me. MAC was chaotic so I got in and out quickly and ulta had been completely raided. They had nothing. So I'll begin my spending freeze tomorrow with all the makeup I'll ever need
I'd had a Charlotte Tilbury quad and blush in my Nordstrom cart for months, so I pulled the trigger last night. Those will be my final color purchases until either 2016 or, if someone gives me gift cards, my birthday in March.

I LOVE THIS STUFF. My skin has been so nice since I discovered it last spring.

I can still participate if I am going on a MU spending freeze right? I just liking seeing the pretty posts filled with sparkles and awesomeness.
I'll break it in Feb if that Tarte kit comes back to QVC. Booyah.
As of tomorrow I'm on a spending freeze so I hope we can still participate. I did binge buy shampoo, face cleanser, Becca primer and the Tartelette palette in the past two days to tide me over for a while. Lol
So Hourglass Ambient...is it worth it? I have a gc burning a hole in my pocket and this what I have my eye on.
And which one should I get? Olive skin, brown hair and eyes.
Or should I just buy the palette lol.
The palette is nice enough and it gives you a few to play with including the highlighter in the middle which is only available in the palette. Some people love the Ambient light powders, some are meh about it. I like it but I'm not blown away by it.
Yesterday Temptalia posted a series of "best of" lists and at least one "worst of" list. They were interesting to peruse. I was surprised by how many of the products I hadn't heard of.
I've been anxiously awaiting the start of the new year so I can buy some new stuff but I'm totally uninspired. This is what happens when you spend a shitton on everything right away, I guess.
Yesterday, I sent pinky in the bathroom to get On the Rocks and the receipt so I could take it back to Ulta. We get there, I hand the lady both and it turns out, pinky found an old receipt for a previous purchase. I tried to tell the woman that I bought it on sale but she just shrugged and refunded me what it swiped for, full price.
So yeah, I'm just winning at makeup buying lately lol. I bought Dipbrow and I'm kind of scared. They didn't have the brush in stock though.
