Oh duh. I forgot to add that I tried on two different eye primer shadows. The right is the Smashbox one and the left is the Too Faced. Right now, I do not notice a difference. As the day goes on, I will see if there is a difference.

Oh, I thought about doing this but I'm afraid of looking like a crazy person if one of them is clearly much more effective than the other.
My Nyx HD isn't working as well lately - I think because it's not playing nice with my say yes to blueberries eye stuff.

I have apparently not been spending my rewards at Ulta. I got my statement and realized I have $70 to spend. I wasn't going to get Vice 3, but I think I just might.

I thought about it too but I really didn't care. At least I can look like a crazy person among coworkers. I have been really good on putting my eye cream on at night so I *hope* it is working.
@missusbee - I don't think I've ever seen a picture of you before. You are lovely! Lip color suggestion - Bite Pepper. It's got a bit more color than a true nude, but the color is subtle and versatile.
I want to echo this.
forreals- I think you have hit a nice spot with your makeup application. You seem to be accentuating your natural beauty perfectly, and I love it.
runaways- You look great! I love fever on you. I have a fever dupe that you might have made me brave enough to try. lol.
Awwww! Thank you andrealynn and wawa ! I really appreciate that. I think naked3 always looks better than the other palettes on me. I should pull it out more often.
Tried another new foundation today, and I hate it. It is Givenchy photo perfexion. It didn't blend easily, settled in to my pores immediately, and I definitely got the wrong color. The sephora lady that helped me was all "complexion is my passion!" and also said that pale people are really picky about our foundations. But surely no matter how pigmented someone's skin is, they wouldn't want this?
That is definitely not the best cool for you. I really want to get color matched but I wary of them being able to so a good job under those terrible lights.

I have been matched 3 times with 3 completely different results. One of those times the lady took one look at the color recommendation and was like "well, that's crap." lol.
OK, so I went to HSN and got too faced chocolate shadow palette, benefit balm with the sample benetint and a lancome lip pencil that I already have in another color, natural mauve. I sent all that plus the coupon code for 20 off to my husband, who wanted to treat me to some makeup
And then I went to Ulta and got the beauty break, NYX illuminator in narcissistic, lorac eye primer, tarte lights camera lashes, the Revlon lip butter in juicy papaya and the Revlon balm stain in rendezvous.
That plus samples should be enough to have fun with for awhile.

Keep saving!
1000 points = $50 2000 points = $125
I'm guessing you're around the 1500 mark for points? I'd hold out for reaching 2000 because then you can get EVEN MORE MAKEUPS!!
Plus, if you're Platinum there's an offer for 3x points. Paying for Vice would net you 195 points vs 75.
I am really annoyed that Sephora only has it online. It would be a perfect thing for me to pick up in store and hit VIB on this weekend. If I order online I have to buy more stuff to get free shipping and the other item I sort of want would leave me $1 short. Plus, I wanted to save an online order for after I am VIB so I can get the Bare Minerals gift.

I KNOOOOOOOW! I'm just going to wait until the VIB sale.

I need to rethink my Ulta/ Sephora strategy next year.
I've spent enough at Ulta where I could have been Platinum there AND Rouge at Sephora. But alas, I am still a lowly Beauty Insider at Sephora because I was lured in by Ulta's points.
I'm hoping to at least get to VIB. That's doable. Just $183 to go.

Why? Ulta gives you money to buy more makeup. Sephora just gives you little trinkets. Seems like ulta has a better thing going.

Does anyone have a good drugstore concealer rec? I noticed yesterday that my concealer starts off ok but just got more and more cakey as the day went on.

Maybelline instant age rewind is a popular recommendation. I use it and really like it - but I need primer and setting powder for it to last all day.

Mayebline FIT concealer. I've tried most of the expensive ones and this is the first I've actually liked. I got the rec from the Makeup Geek. She has a video on how to apply it. I tweaked it a little (she also pairs it with Bobby brown, which I don't do) but it works wonderfully for me.

I used to use Dior Airflash and really liked it. The only thing is that you still apply it like other foundation, you just spray it on the brush or sponge. It was kind of messy. It did make my skin look great, but I think I like Hourglass or the Chanel over that.
i still have some in my drawer and was considering trying it out again just to see if I would still like it after everything else I have tried.

If you have a Dillard's near you they are having a "Foundation Frenzy" Sept 25-27th (in-store only). $15 off anything over $50 $10 off $30-49.99 $5 off $29.99 or less
The email didn't have restrictions, so I'm assuming everything is fair game.

Samples used -
Face: Boscia BB cream (I think I love this), Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer, Benefit Dandelion highlighter, MUFE HD cream blush in 410 (like the shade more after dusting a translucent powder over it)
Have we talked about the Clinique palette? Black Honey Affair?
It looks pretty.I haven't found much in terms of reviews. And by much, I mean zero.
I saw this browsing through Sephora's palettes online and thought it was really pretty. I wonder if they have it at the Dillard's or Younkers by me, since Sephora doesn't carry it.
Also on Clinique, I have their face primer and I think it is pretty good. Not as good as the HG primer, then again HG costs twice as much as clinique. And I haven't noticed a noticable difference between the two, HG is just silkier going on.
