This board would be incredibly boring if we all agreed with each other all the time. Do you really want puppies and rainbows 24/7? Come on, goldfish and uncrustables are pretty damn tame. Uncluch your pearls, Jesus.
Yeah I don't read them either. Lately though there has been a ton of them which is impacting the number of threads I respond to which is impacting my post count. Grrr, crazy bitches!

I am the Goldfish OP and I was stunned at everyone's reaction myself. I just prefer to be able to pack my own kids lunch - I personally don't care what people feed their kids as long as they are well taken care off. I haven't read the uncrestables thread, again, not my thing, but I don't care that other people use them.
I almost left over it myself. But it's a message board and I do find value in it. I've gotten some really good advice and ideas here that have aided me IRL.

I'm picturing Jesus clutching a pearl necklace now. Maybe he's also wearing a nice evening gown.

I love MMM because it makes my type A ass feel INCREDIBLY laid back.
For sure. Compared to my real life friends, I'm the uptight strict one. Believe it or not.
For the record, I don't feed my kid uncrustables because she wouldn't touch them with a 10 foot pole. I should however buy stock in Pop-tarts and Cheez-its.
I'm just astounded that people think grabbing that box off a shelf in the store is easier than grabbing bread and PB. I mean you're a the store either way.
I see so much godawful food for lunch parents pack where I work that an uncrustable wouldn't even cross my radar. I said as much.
OP asked why schools hate lunchables. I answered honestly. I don't really care other send them.

No but uncrustables isn't a puppies and rainbows issue to have.
I just find it exhausting sometimes the lack of real life problems on this board, kwim? Somedays they qualify as something beyond 1st world even.
I mean if you're going to get me annoyed make it something better than uncrustables.

See this is why you sound ridiculous. I could also buy many things at the store. What does that have to do with convenience at home? This lacks sense. YES I can buy the both at the store but Really? You cant see how it would be easier for someone to NOT make a sandwich and instead grab something quick out of the freezer when they are already late?

**banging my head against my computer**
You're taking me way too seriously. You have to know me well enough to know that I couldn't careless about the 43252353 things people do with their kids.
I'm just saying I don't buy the excuse that they're that much easier. I know me and know I can make a PBJ in the time it takes me to open that package. I'm just saying a homemade PBJ is a convenience food in it's own right as well. My own opinion.
I'm not really laying awake over it or anything. I was not anti-uncrustable at all in that thread. In fact I'm pretty sure I said I wouldn't side eye it.

Listen, I mentioned easy Mac and how I feed it to my kid in that post and noone even got distracted enough to flame me or tell me it was gross. I tried to change the subject!!

That was the mildest "judge" thread of all time. Most people were like "keep on keeping on!" Then a few were like "do what you want...I personally am not a fan."
Then there were the extremes "these are the besets things ever!" or "wtf? How lazy!" but those were both the minority.
But on this board, apparently even mentioning that you personally don't do it is terrible.

I'm hardly clutching my pearls. I am just annoyed at the stupidest shit people judge. Goldfish, uncrustables, andwhat someone chooses to name their kid.
If I wanted this kind of nonsense I'd read the b.ump.
I wish I could do the eyeroll emoticon from my phone. As pugz said, sometimes those threads result in something fun. I would much rather judge junk food, than drive people away by hurting each other's feelings judging about "real" topics like breast feeding, daycare, or car seat safety. Overall we are a great group of people who don't fling mud at each other, unlike the b.ump. Your constant harping on this issue is getting old.

Someone's different is always wrong if you're not doing "different" too.

Gross. I only feed my child Annie's Mac and cheese. It's ORGANIC.
Just join me in lurking on CE&P. At least I feel a little smarter when they go off on something for a few pages. Or slightly more feminist. I can not and will not read 4 pages about premade PB&J. Can. not. do. it.

Constant harping? From my my few posts from today? Okay. I'm clearly in BEC with you so whatever. With that I'm out and completely done.
You've quit the board over our supposed judging at least once before that I recall. So whatever, peace out to you too.
