Me and DD are awake. DH and DS are still asleep. It rained like crazy here last night but I'm hoping it clears up so we can go to a local festival today!
DS stayed in his crib until 7:30! He had been awake on and off for about and hour, but was quietly playing with his pacifiers, so I got to doze off while he was happy!
I gave him his bottle and usually he's ready to play, but fell back asleep! Im enjoying baby snuggles, but this is so unlike him. You can tell he's a sick boy (double ear infection, again). Thursday's ENT consult cannot come soon enough.

I just threw all my finds from yesterday's consignment sale into the wash. I love these sales! I found HA pj's and a long sleeve romper among tons of other stuff. Yay!
H slept on the couch last night. I was upset because I thought he was mad at me. He came to bed at 8 am and said he had planned to watch tv for a few minutes until he felt sleepy and then come upstairs. Instead he slept for 8.5 hours. Poor guy is so exhausted.
I felt that way at first but it definitely grows on you and the kids learn cute lessons from it. Daniel Tiger is the reason my kid is finally potty trained. "If you have to go potty, STOP!, and go right away!"

I'm exhausted, my 2 year old slept like shit. I have so much laundry to do it's insane. My house looks like a bomb went off. Cleaning + swimming lessons are in my future. Womp womp
sleeping in is not worthwhile when I have to prompt h for 20 minutes to get his ass out of bed. now I'm wide awake and thinking of all the chores I should get done while they are out for a run.
It's impossible to get out if the house sometimes. We were planning on going out and then by the time she ate, was bathed, and dressed she was melting down because it's naptime.

We were meeting friends and their baby for a playdate yesterday. We had a nap run over (hooray! just questionable timing), I had to feed her, then we had THREE changing table/pee incidents, the last of which meant we had to make time for a bath.
I guess B just never wants to drop his morning nap on the weekends. I wonder how he's able to party for four hours at school when he can't manage to hang with us for two. He kept pointing at the stairs and whining until I put him up to sleep.
Our house is finally clean and organized. Now I have to have some people over. My friend cancelled on me again this weekend so I'm a little bummed.

At that point, I just wanted to stay home.
Of course. And yesterday when H and I were both dressed for a wedding, she had the worst poo-splosion of her life. I was still checking myself for poo in the car
This is more like a confession: I really want to get out and do something today, but my only real plans are to get groceries. And I wonder if my desire to go to a local college for a nice walk is really just a walk to procrastinate because our house is becoming a sty and I have no energy/desire to do all the cleaning/organizing that needs doing.
I was feeding M when H came back to bed this morning. After I finished feeding him, I put him down in the RNP, thinking he'd give me a few minutes to snuggle with H. Dude slept for 1.5 hours, and so did we! It was nice.

Nods wants to be a nudist. It took 4 outfit changes this morning until she was able to wear clothes without throwing a tantrum. All her screaming woke up Ace which means I won't be able to go find the painting supplies in the basement like I had hoped.

AW: H is the best. Both weekend days he let me sleep til I got up around 9:30, then went back to bed himself. I immediately put DD down for a nap, baked cinnamon rolls and gorged myself on two of them and my favorite coffee (Zeke's if your in Bmore!). Ahhhhh Sundee.

DD was wide awake for almost two hours last night. I don't know what was wrong. She was fine as long as I was with her. I tried bringing her to bed with us even though she can never fall asleep that way. I drifted in and out of sleep for a while before she said she wanted to go back to her bed. I'm exhausted. DH took her grocery shopping so I could go running, but I'm going to take a nap instead. *sigh*

Everyone likes to sleep in and be lazy on weekends! He's clearly advanced, since he's figured out weekends so early.

We had plans of getting to church today and watching football at a friends house, but the boys both have nasty colds, so I think we are just staying home now.
Bummer since they have kids ours kids ages and they love playing with each other while we watch football.

My first week on "maternity leave" from working in the church nursery! We get to laze around this morning, leave at 9 (had to leave at 7:30 before) and then I actually get to attend an entire service for the first time in a year. So relaxing.
Another chore-filled but kinda fun sunday here too. DH had to be at work at 5 yesterday poor thing, so he slept in while I took DS. Then I made us a big breakfast while DH exhausted DS and the dog in the backyard. DH is at the dump while I fold laundry, then we're all going to Home Depot, then Panera. Cinnamon crunch bagel here I come!
I think all the Daniel tiger lovers are on crack. The kids all woke up early today so I put it on for them and promptly wanted to shoot myself, it is so annoying!
I hate DT but I love how his stupid songs get my dd1 to do things I can't get her to do by myself.
we stayed up too late last night watching Outlander and dh let me sleep in this morning. He is out for his 11 mile run right now. DD is up in her room looking at books. I need to take a shower and get breakfast and figure out how we'll spend the day. I want to go out and do something but I think my allergies are flaring up so we should probably not. Lots to do around the house anyway.
I'm trying to sort all the stuff we have stored and get rid of the baby items...so hard to do with the kids around. They keep taking toys out of the donate pile to play with. You are not babies, why do you want to play with a rattle and the boppy ? You'd think I was trying to give away their favorite toys or something.
I always think I'm going to get so much done on the weekend and then barely get to any of it. Ugh.

We got home from our trip last night. I was so worried M would sleep like crap because of the time difference, but I guess he was so exhausted that he slept from 7pm - 3am. I brought him to bed, and he slept until 7:30. Then at 11am he walked to his crib, grabbed his paci and moosie and basically asked to take a nap. So here I sit while M and DH are napping. It is so nice to be doing nothing. I don't want to go back to work tomorrow.
