Today is my last day of work. I now can live the life of leisure until she decides to arrive. Dr. apt on Wed.
Ummm no. We like in a two bedroom and she will be sharing with DD, but for now she will be in the RNP next to my bed.
I will get up, eat my delicious cereal, watch TV, do more nothing, get a bath, get a mani/pedi, go out for lunch, go home and do nothing. That's my plan one day this week at least.
Poppy what was your MIL's beef with the changing set up? My mom didn't understand why I needed a separate area because she always changed me in the crib. I reminded her that cribs don't have drop sides anymore and she was like "Ohhhh. I get it now." Lol.
We registered for the good ole IKEA Gulliver:
She said that it was too flimsy and the baby is going to pull it over and really we should do a sturdy dresser. Actually she did a stint at BRU helping moms register so I'm kind of relieved this was her only criticism of the registry... She also gave H a guilt trip about missing ultrasounds. It sucks because he has made a great effort to attend them including missing a big high visibility work demo to fly home for the NT scan, but I have had an obscene amount of scans and they are an hour from his work and I haven't always been able to schedule them at the beginning or end of the day. But it's not like he's just being cavalier about it, and he already feels bad, so lay off! And BTW we will be going on a massive wall anchoring spree once we have a furniture placement we're happy with. Grr.

1. How far along are you this week? 19w 1d
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We got the nursery dresser put together and finished registering this weekend. I'm so glad to have it done, registering is a lot of work!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Honey oak hardwood floor, creamy golden walls. It's going to have a Peter Rabbit/Beatrix Potter theme.
And we got the changing pad top for the dresser, too.
This is the bedding (which we won't use until later anyway, and no bumpers). Attachment Deleted
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Just relaxing. Sleeping in, sitting outside enjoying the fall weather. Reading a book. And not cooking, lol.

Hey ladies!!!
1. How far along are you this week? 29 weeks tomorrow. 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We picked up baby furniture this weekend and have made good progress on baby's room. I've also ordered accessories for shelving and prints for the wall. Time flies. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Vintage airplane and travel theme. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, then starbucks, then mani/pedi, then clothes or makeup shopping, go get car wash/detailed...
1. How far along are you this week? 20 weeks. Half cooked!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? A/S Thursday. DH felt baby girl last night. He was laying his head on my stomach and got kicked in the face. Ha! The look he gave me was priceless.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? It will be Woodlands themed. We had decided that before we were pregnant. The walls are a light blue and FIL and DH are going to paint a mural with trees/animals and such.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Massage, getting my hair done, just a day of relaxing and pampering.

Lol thanks demandypants I know all baby cares about is a place to sleep! I just feel bad when everyone else has such cute nurseries and we won't have one at all! I hope we can move sooner rather than later!
2. I am eagerly awaiting the results of Friday's 1-hr GD screening; I should hear from the doctor's office by Tuesday if I failed.
3. I love the nursery! We went with Alligator Madras from PBK, paired with dark blue walls and white furniture. Green and orange are the accent colors.
4. My husband works Saturdays, so I have every Saturday to myself. It's boring! I'm looking forward to the company when the little guy is born. For the time being, my Saturdays are spent cleaning, running errands, and getting my nails did.

1. How far along are you this week? Just about half way there. Holy crap! 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? This child finally cooperates for a Doppler! Only took 19.5 weeks! And tomorrow is apparently my level 2 scan! 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Not yet. But I keep loving all the whale stuff I see :-)
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Pregnant or not pregnant? :-) Not pregnant would be get up, go to the gym, get dressed, go to my favorite winery, have a couple of glasses of wine, then to to the coffee shop in town and have some coffee and read and listen to my favorite goofy radio shows (yeah, I'm the square that loves Prairier Home Companion and Wait Wait don't tell me) pick up Chinese food on the way home and gorge on beef and broccoli while watching bad movies on tv :-)
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I'm still not 100% sure if I'm feeling baby or not. I think these little pokes are it, but nothing has been a for sure kick or anything yet. Trying to be patient with this anterior placenta!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? No nursery until we move unfortunately. Baby will just be in our room for about 6 months. I feel like a horrible parent when I think about it but I don't know what else to do
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? If money weren't an object, I'd go get a mani/pedi and get my hair done. Then get a much needed massage! If it is then probably just lounging around playing video games or watching whatever I want on TV. I'm exciting
Anterior placentas can kiss my whole hiney. I still can barely feel a blessed thing!
1. 12w! I am excited to hit this milestone. 2. We find out the sex by Thursday! I found myself picking out pink cupcake holders and decorations at the store yesterday to share the news with my family...and it was only after it was all in my cart that I realized what I had done and put it all back. So I guess I'm subconsciously thinking it's a girl? 3. It will be airplanes if it's a boy. We may do planes anyway if it's a girl and just change one of the accent colors. 4. Get my hair blown out (love how it looks straight, but lack the patience to do it well myself), go out for a fun lunch in the city, go to an independent bookstore and browse for a very long time, see a play or concert, and go to a fun dinner. I love books and food, in case you can't tell.
Did you do one of those early blood screenings? Which one, if you don't mind me asking.

1. How far along are you this week? 36 Weeks 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I decided last minute that I want to switch to a birth center. My insurance will cover it 100% since I met my deductible. I am hopefully going to get the water birth I always wanted. I am not sure exactly why I waited so long to make the change. I think it cause I met with a Doula that reminded me of how much I HATED the hospital last time. I can't afford her services but I can afford a birth center birth. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Moon and stars. I did not change it from DD's theme. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Good question. Probably in bed with my feet up watching Netflix.
2. I ran out of Zofran this weekend which was awful! I cancelled my back ordered nursery furniture that was continuously being pushed back. I ordered the RH Marlowe furniture and should have a delivery date set by 10/4.
3. The peanut's nursery will have light gray walls, white furniture, and have a color scheme of gray, navy, and teal. The theme is airplanes, mostly vintage airplanes. My husband is geeking out over the various planes from WWI and WWII. My ex-career Air Force FIL is loving it too.
4. I would probably sleep a lot, eat Mexican food, browse baby things online, catch up on TV shows, and clean a little. When it cools down a bit more, I'd like to take my dogs to the park.

Thanks for starting this! I had a hellish morning.
1. How far along are you this week? 26 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Nothing much. Hopefully an uneventful week coming.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Curious George theme 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Depends on the weather. Gorg, warm/hot day and if I were back home I'd spend it wandering around the city. If cold or shitty out, reading/emptying the DVR.
1. How far along are you this week? 28 weeks even. 3rd Trimester has arrived. Holy shit. 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I have been sick for a week and am just now coming out of it. Being sick when you're pregnant is freaking ROUGH. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? I made this for MIL so she could make us a blanket. I was not this ambitious for this post:
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Probably doing some compulsive cleaning/organizing project or sleeping and reading because I'm still a little under the weather.

1. 31 weeks 2. Single digit weeks left! My local baby shower in this weekend and I'm so excited for it. The host knows me well, and is having so much fun planning it. Now I just need to not registry stalk all week. 3. It's kind of a mess. We aren't really decorating since we're moving in Jan, so I'm just organizing things that I'll need for the first month or so. The only furniture I've picked out and bought is the glider. 4. I would sleep in as long as I wanted, go out for a delicious lunch, get a mani/pedi or a massage and then watch tv on the couch.

1. How far along are you this week? 39 weeks 3 days. Almost there!! 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? At my appt. last week I was still 1cm but 50% effaced so there has been some progress. Still feeling absolutely no contractions My two pregnant co-workers had their babies last week. I just want it to be my turn! Also receiving new weird questions. I got the "Are you bfing" all along but this week 2 people asked me if I planned to have a natural birth. Why are people so concerned with things my vagina will be doing?! 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? No theme. The walls are a light ice blue and we have grey, pink and coral accents. Some art work off of etsy and a cute fabric pom mobile. All the furniture is white from ikea and we have a light grey rocker. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleeping, reading and cathcing up on my DVR. If I wasn't saving money, the answer would be a full spa day.
1. 12w! I am excited to hit this milestone. 2. We find out the sex by Thursday! BabyGowdy on etsy does a girl version too. If you couldn't already tell, I love etsy!
39w 3d! Due on Friday! Last week at my OB appt I was still "closed for business." I have a growth u/s tomorrow, and if baby is measuring big, which one of the doc's thinks she is, we are going to schedule my c section asap. Otherwise the plan was to try vbac.
Nursery is done! Light blue walls, yellow curtains, and story book theme. I have picture ledges on one wall with books displayed, and a picture collage with prints from Peter rabbit, Alice in wonderland, matilda, babar, and Winnie the pooh. Hoping to post pics soon, I know I love seeing others nursery pics.

Back after a bit of a hiatus!
1. 24 weeks tomorrow. Time is suddenly flying and it's scaring me!
2. Not much...found out a few weeks ago that we're having a boy. I'll confess that I was sad about not having sisters for a few days (and felt ridiculous about feeling sad...ugh, hormones), but now I'm getting excited. Buying sweet little boy things certainly has helped to turn things around. And H's expression when the tech announced the sex was priceless.
3. We have done zero work on the nursery so far...sorry, second kid. For now the room still has to function as a guest room for some out-of-town guests next month. I did find a Skip Hop blanket that I think I'll use as a basis for the room's colors, but so far all I've done is think about it. :-P
4. Oh man, I'm dreaming of this...spend part of the day cleaning/organizing in peace, go for a leisurely bike ride or hike, take a nap, browse the stores for some nursery items...sigh, I think I might need more than a whole day to do everything I want to do.

1. How far along are you this week? 13 weeks 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Got the call that our NT scan & bloodwork were all "normal" today. That took a load off my mind. Also, I told my principal today which was also a load off my mind that I didn't even realize was weighing on me until it was over. 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? I have this vague idea for a "storybook" theme with lots of references to my favorite stories but I have no real plans for execution at this time. 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? H's schedule often leaves me home alone throughout the day. I read, watch TV & movies that he doesn't like or will make fun of me for, and eat what I want. Now if money were no option, my day would look completely different!!

8+4
Nauseous. Very nauseous. Tired.
If it's a boy we are going to do vintage sports theme. Girl I want to go pink. DD had a green nursery and has a purple big girl room. I finally will get my pink! Not sure what theme though.
1. How far along are you this week? 35 weeks tomorrow! Craziness!
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We went to CA Adventure last week and my foot still hurts. I feel somewhat out of shape. We walked 7 miles though. It was nice to get around and see my husband and daughter having a blast on all the rides she can ride on now. We're going to Disneyland next week and I'm hoping it goes as well as it did last week. I'm still getting awful Braxton Hicks contractions and have a constant sore/swollen feeling in my labia... I'm wondering if that means he's sitting lower? It's very uncomfortable!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? He won't have a nursery until he's six months old (or until we find a house we love), but his crib sheets are anchors, whales and other nautical themed things. We'll probably continue with that when he has a nursery.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? I would sleep in, read a book, go out and see a movie/have lunch with a friend. I would not lift a finger to clean anything

1. How far along are you this week? 17 weeks 1 day 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? Not much this week, I still wish I was showing more and I want to feel him move! 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Light gray with orange and white accents. No real theme, keeping it simple and clean. Cherry wood furniture Like this: www.etsy.com/listing/123187449/baby-nursery-decorgrey-and-orange?ref=br_feed_16&br_feed_tlp=kids-category 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? These days, I would like to lay on my bed with my cat in an empty house with no cell phone and just watch cheesy tv and eat junk food and talk to no one. Things have been so hectic....
