1. 27 weeks and some odd days! 2. I am stressed about work and having some moments where I totally flip out. I have got to find a way to relax! Also, I got this comment from someone over the weekend, "You're not really showing. Are you sure everything is okay?" WTH? 3. No theme yet but the room is painted and the furniture is set up. It's a start! 4. Relaxing! I would take a nap, have a nice lunch, maybe get a pedicure, and watch a movie.
1. How far along are you this week? 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it?
1. 30 weeks!
2. I'm starting to get a little bit overwhelmed at the amount of stuff we have to do to get the house ready for the baby. We both have this coming weekend off, and no plans, so I'm hoping it's a productive one.
I have an U/S on Wednesday, which is the last of my cervical length checks and the first of my growth scans...I'll have them once a week from here on out!
3. The nursery currently looks like a guest room...because it's still a guest room (see above). The plan is for grey, coral and mint with elephants.
4. I actually have days to myself a lot, due to FI and I working oppostie schedules, which is really nice. I'm trying to relish them while they last, lol. I generally get chores done around the house, catch up on the TV I've DVRed and cook or bake.

1. How far along are you this week? 13 weeks 2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? my MIL has gone from being very nice to me to VERY nice to me 3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Nothing yet, will be gender neutral, aqua walls, white trim, grey paneling. So far I like Land of Nod without a peep which has yellow accents 4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Sleep in, lunch, massage, movies
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? We got the nursery dresser put together and finished registering this weekend. I'm so glad to have it done, registering is a lot of work!
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? Honey oak hardwood floor, creamy golden walls. It's going to have a Peter Rabbit/Beatrix Potter theme.
This is the crib and dresser.
And we got the changing pad top for the dresser, too.
This is the bedding (which we won't use until later anyway, and no bumpers).
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? Just relaxing. Sleeping in, sitting outside enjoying the fall weather. Reading a book. And not cooking, lol.
I typed up a post yesterday, but my internet connection has been flaky and I lost the response, so I'll play today.
1. 24w3d 2. I find myself feeling achy and more easily tired, especially if I'm going non-stop all day. Which is such a minor thing to complain about, since my pregnancy has been really smooth sailing, but I was really hoping I'd get through the whole 9 months unscathed.
Unrelated - I mentioned that I planned to announce my pregnancy at work a few weeks ago, but never updated. The news was so well received. I mean I knew they'd be happy for me, but people were ecstatic. I'm constantly surprised as to how excited and happy people are for us. It's a great feeling.
3. So I don't technically have a nursery, but will have one at some point in the next year, so I've been picking things out anyway. I have a vintage 1930s/40s theme going on. I was completely inspired by Little Hands wallpaper:
(check out their blog, their stuff is so cute).
It reminds me of old children's books illustrations. The color theme is a mix of whites, muted greys, blues and green. I think some people in my family are disappointed I'm not doing something more bold and bright, but this is so much more me, so oh well! Plus there will come a time when the kid has a voice and an opinion so I may as well get what I want now!
4.When I wrote this post yesterday I had only two things on my mind - a massage and a cookie from Levain bakery. I have yet to have the massage, but damn that cookie was delicious (pic found online)!

1. How far along are you this week? 38 weeks
2. Pregnancy-related AWs/vents/randoms for this week? I got stuck in the bathtub this weekend. Lesson learned, I can no longer sit up from that position and I am too large to roll over on my hands and knees. There are no bars in our tub and it is very deep. We did learn that DH is very strong and can still lift me even with baby.
3. What is the baby's nursery like? Does it have a theme? We did a storybook theme. White furniture, white walls. The colors are gray, purple, green and aqua. We did a gray peter pan decal over the crib and above the bookcase hung watercolors of different storybook characters. I will post pictures as soon as it is completely finished.
4. If you had a whole day all to yourself, how would you spend it? On the couch vegging!
