I used to sing sometimes. Lately m girls have been requesting my good night rap.
Rap? Tell me more!
It starts out with "When I say good, you say night!" Then the rest is silly things about them and their names. I usually do the same thing but will sometimes improv. They love it!

Not much anymore because I found it dragged the bedtime routine out too long. I just recently stopped.
I used to sing DD1 "Last Kiss" (oh where or where can my baby be) because it is one of the only longer songs I know the words to. DD then requested I change it to "oh where oh where can my heady be,". Which is a song about my head falling off.
These days C chooses between You are my Sunshine or Over the Rainbow (and I can't sing any other time because he can probably tell I really can't sing; and since he turned 4 I don't even get asked to sign nearly as often). When he was younger/nursing, I also had Mockingbird and Billy Joel's Goodnight My Angel. But he now feels the former is for babies and the other is for grown ups.
To our toddler, yes. I sing You Are My Sunshine, sometimes followed up with Twinkle Twinkle. I love it because she's nestled on my shoulder, and I ask if she wants songs & cuddles, and she nods yes.
DD1 is 6 - we read a chapter to her every night before bed. Sometimes we talk a little bit and cuddle. She's always been easy.
DD2 is 2 1/2 - I will sing 3 songs, usually by request, out of a large rotation. She almost always wants "Rock a Bye Baby" and a song I probably can't spell right - "Tum Bala Laika."
Yes, we read 1-2 books and then have 6 songs we have to sing in the exact same order every night. Gah. Luckily they are all super short (30 seconds or less, probably).
H does bed time and yes he does. When H was OOT for the first time and I did bedtime David informed me that he got THREE songs, lol. They do Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, My Dog Ben, You Are My Sunshine, the This Old Man song. They have a few more. H went on youtube and found some songs and wrote down the lyrics. Both H and David are the singing type, lol.

Dd gets amazing grace. Not all the time anymore but when she asks or is sick.
DS gets you are my sunshine.
I have a hard time singing to my dd since my dad passed away as that song was played at his burial. So I can't sing it to DS, but I couldn't stop singing it to Dd
