To be fair, when I joined my office was shielded from the brokenness of the rest of the company (it was a startup that had been acquired and mostly left alone).
My STB new job has already learned the second lesson the hard way. They won't make it again. Everyone puts giant safe harbor slides in front of every public presentation these days.
@rock-n-Voll I think you misunderstood my intention. What I intended was that even the cheap sushi I had in California was amazing, so even if I had equally amazing expensive sushi on the east coast, my MM brain would be like "man I wish I were back in California where I could get sushi this good for half the price!"
If that is strange, well, that's me and I guess I'm strange.
