Do you have a tradition? DH wants to have chicken parmesan over angel hair pasta. While it sounds tasty I want something easy (but healthy) that won't leave me with a dirty kitchen (I can't stand that and won't have time to clean up right away because of ToTing.) MIL is coming over but she doesn't expect fancy so I'm not worried about that. So give me ideas!
Crockpot pork chops, baked potatoes and some kind of veg.
My parents will be with us.
DS is too young to have established any kind of Halloween "tradition" meal, but I can see relying on the crockpot in the future for it since it will not require much of any meal prepping during prime ToT hours.
No tradition here. We've done chili in the crock pot, mummy dogs, take and bake pizza shaped like a pumpkin.
This year we are doing bison burgers with frozen onion rings and frozen corn. Only because FIL is here and we have to make bison burgers if he is in town and that was the only night I could make It happen.

No tradition, just something quick since we'll have less than an hour to eat & get ready for ToT.
DH is getting off a little early today so dinner should be ready by the time M & I get home. We're having TJ's veggie fried rice & orange chicken. It's a favorite at our house

Huh, I think I "forgot" that it was Halloween tomorrow when I planned our dinner. Anyway, we are having skinnytaste sweet barbacoa pork in tacos with rice. At least it's a crockpot meal so I can just leave it.
Chili always seems like the perfect Halloween food to me (as long as it's cool outside). This year, we have a football game, so we'll have tailgate food and candy.

My in laws are arriving at my house with barbeque (pulled pork) :-) Hopefully purchased because I'll feel bad if my MIL cooks for us, which she's very likely to do.
DD1 probably won't eat it, but she can have a quesadilla instead.

My H has been OOT the last two Halloweens (don't get me started...), so I haven't been able to establish any family tradition since it's just me and the kids. Tomorrow, we are going to have "jack-o-lantern" grilled cheese sandwiches and soup because it's easy and I'm cooking for a toddler and baby.
We always got pizza when I was growing up. We spent Halloween with my parents last year to we had pizza. I don't recall what we've had in years past. This year we are getting pizza, lol. We have a friends coming over because they live out in the country and we live in an easily-walkable neighborhood, plus my kids are Jake and Tick-Tock Croc and theirs is Tinkerbelle. I don't feel like cooking for company, so I offered to order pizza.
My parents usually come over, and we've usually done a very unhealthy (but delicious) chicken tortilla soup in the Crockpot.
This year, I'm going to grab one of those delicious, gigantic chicken pot pies from Costco and throw it in the oven. I'm almost giddy, I'm so excited to eat it.
