Someone stole one of our Christmas decorations from our yard this weekend. It was one of DH's favorites and we are both pretty pissed. I mean, come on, what kind of person steals Christmas decorations?!
Several of my neighbors had light strings cut. And one of my friends did a few years ago multiple times. She swears it was someone eho had a bitchy wife. And he now lives in my neighborhood. Whomp whomp. I was to borrow the wildlife camera I gave my dad.
Today a family provided breakfast for us at work ( I work in a school for children with Autism). I really wanted hot chocolate, but with the little ones around I didn't want to have a hot beverage in the classroom. So I could only quickly grab a small sip before I went back to my student. Total fwp, but I wanted hot chocolate dammit!

People really do suck sometimes.
A buddy of mine had several strings of lights cut. And then they hooked up a wildlife style camera (in the hopes of catching the vandal), and discovered it was bunnies chewing thru the cord... They put some type of repellent on/around the light strand, and no more problems.
Because of where I was injured, I have to go back to get requalified medically, which is horrifyingly annoying. They called me Friday afternoon to tell me I needed to print out a bunch of paperwork and get it to them that day because everyone is on leave for the holiday. I got it to them in an hour and they said I'd be able to go Monday/Tuesday to the medical facility. Nope. They're just looking at my paperwork today. It might turn out that I'll only get to spend three days with my family (who I've not seen in a year and a half) for Christmas after driving 15 hours to get there. Ugh. Whatever, it's good news because I'm closer to going back, I'm just so frustrated that things aren't happening efficiently. My organization is never efficient, you think I'd be used to it by now.
Oh, that bites. At least they are looking at it now?

This was a straight cut that looked like a knife rather than a gnawed kind of cut so they're asuming vandalism.
I somehow snapped the metal underwire of a bra on Sunday. It was scratching me in one place under my boon. I definitely remember putting in the garbage.
Then, today, I was like, damn! That spot is scratchy! Except that I's snapped another underwire in exactly the same spot! It was two versions of the same bra, but how weird, right?
Our Christmas Eve plans are making me pissy. We are going to my Grandpa's girlfriends house. It is a very sore subject with me and I am just ready to get it over with. On a happier note, we are hosting my immediate family on Christmas Day and it is always a great time.
We had Christmas with H's family this past Saturday. Out of the 13 people there (including two infants), 10 got a raging stomach bug. That shit was fierce! So much fun to start the week of Christmas with all four of my family members sick. Luckily, my H and I are mostly better, my baby is fine, and my son is on the mend. He was feisty tonight so that's a good sign.
My sister in law was the carrier, she got sick while we were all there, passed it on to all of us, and her H and son visited other family that night and passed it to them.
MrsDarcy - *hair pats from a safe distance* That happened to us once an H's extended family Christmas thing. It was either the guy who came and said his two kids stayed home sick or the lutefisk.
