DD, almost 3: Hello Kitty stuff from the $1 bins at Target. Was not interested in opening anything else until she made Santa a picture using all the stickers.
DS, 5 months: paper
I have the plague. Which wins for least favorite present.
SS got a drum set from my mom. He is so in love and we haven't even set it up yet!
C loves the plastic insert from his Parum Pum Drum. Lol And his new shoes.
My parents bought us a brand new dishwasher. By far the best thing I could have received this year, since ours has been out of commission for about a month.
Highlight so far was the quiet breakfast at my parent's house this morning. It reminds me of Christmas the way I grew up, which was so low key compared to all the running around we do now.
H's aunt got DS the complete hardcover gift set of Beatrix Potter books. Holy shit. I love them.
So far DS has gone nuts for the take along tunes, the Jumperoo, and the M&D bead maze. I'm pleasantly surprised by the last one - I thought for sure he'd need to grow into liking it.
My favorite things are all the makeup I got and a nice coat. I told everyone I needed clothes though and got basically none. Shit. I also thought for sure H would buy the comforter I wanted since ours got ruined. He didn't. Double shit. It's sold out on West Elm's site now.

I feel like we had a lot of hits this year.
DD1 loved her Legos and Kindle. She loved Monster High dolls she got for her birthday too. DS loved his furby, Kindle and Legos. DD2's favorite was probably her fashion sketchbook. She's been drawing all morning. DD3 was so stinking excited that Santa brought her the blue water bottle she asked for. <3
DH bought me the doors and drawers I wanted for my expedit craft shelf (we went shopping last weekend for them). I'm so excited to get them set up.
Highlight was watching the kids open their gifts and celebrating DD1's birthday.
Lego Frozen ice castle is an unexpectedly HUGE hit. I thought she would be interested for about 5 minutes but she has been putting it together with H and MIL all morning. H is really into it too. I was kinda on the fence about getting this one but SO glad I did. Thanks A MILLION @kirkette!
DD2 is super attached to the $5 Beanie Baby giraffe DD1 got her. She is carrying it around and screaming A-RAFFE, A-RAFFE nonstop.
Highlight of the day: feeding DS his first sweet potatoes, which he loooooooveeed. He ate the whole pouch. He had the biggest smile on his face. H and I sipped on mimosas at the same time and toasted our parenting win.

DD's favorite gift was also my favorite gift/moment. My parents got her a big canvas print of herself. My little narcissist went *crazy* over it. There's nothing she loves more than a picture of herself
Favorites have been the playhouse, Little People Skyway, Little People preschool, doctors kit, coloring books and markers/crayons, stickers, and Hershey's Kisses.
That's basically everything we/Santa gave her. I cut back from what I had originally planned and I'm glad. She's played with everything this morning.

DS1 loved everything, with special attention for the Woody and Buzz action figures, Tonka mixer, 2014 Hess truck, and play circus tent.
DS2 doesn't care about his gifts, but his new Wubbanub is working out great. I already want a backup.
DH got me a wine club membership at our favorite local winery, and I got some great non-frumpy clothes from my mom and sister to spruce up my wardrobe.
Almost 3 year old: kidkraft dollhouse and little Anna and Elsa dolls
6 year old: kindle fire, Legos
8 year old: kindle fire, black boots
Me: a weekender bag, and some thoughtful running stuff from DH
The highlight is our first Christmas at home just the 5 of us (thanks to our crazy germs :/), and DH's first Christmas off in 10 years. TEN. I'm giddy and sick all at once.
DH went shopping himself for DS and bought every musical instrument on the market for 9-12 month olds. DS is currently banging on everything with his little Hape drum sticks. It's cute, but he's already hit me in the face twice.
For me, I was touched that DH bought me the (not crazy expensive) earrings from a pretty swanky jewelry store, but then also gave me a big gift card to pick out something to go with them. It was the year of the gift card around here!!
DS' favorite gift from Santa was the fire truck I picked up from Kohl 's website to get free shipping on S.O.'s gift. Also a big hit: a Tonka dump truck from my parents.
I loved both of my gifts from S.O.: a Sephora gift card and Love Actually on DVD.

Ds1 : All of them I think. He stopped and played with everything he got. All our family was spot on with his interests, from Tonka trucks, helicopters, road map rug and model trains to a mini bowling set, Thomas smartphone, knitted dragonfly and alphabet train puzzle. He even got excited about the Cars bed set.
Ds2 : a black/orange/red striped knitted stegasaurus from my sister. Apparently it tastes delicious.
Dh: wireless phone charging kit and the remastered charlie brown Christmas special
Me: the complete Elfquest volume 1 (from dh) and the set of 8 Harry Potter movies (from my sister). Mil got me an ice cream maker too. I can't decide if it'll be awesome or a waste of cupboard space.
We've seriously had the best day. DD2 thought her bitty baby was the best thing of all time. DD1 has rotated between all of her things, but she's calling the candies out of the trail mix in her stocking her favorite. lol.
