She seems to have a very different idea of her place in everyone's lives than the rest of you do. OR what it means when you sell your house. I.e. It's not yours anymore!!!
Wow that sounds like a big mess! Did Bob Newowner tell crazy friend he was getting rid of the stuff she left? I know it's his place now and common sense says he has every right to get rid of it but she doesn't seem like she has a whole lot of that.
but she was off the grid and wasn't in contact for months. I think bob holds absolutely no responsibility here!

No. when she left, she told him he could have whatever there was. But she still expects that it'll all be there.Â
She was talking about going over there and getting into 'her closet' and getting her work clothes. ummm.Â
i can't even. She really doesn't understand what selling her house means.

God she was so rude about the location of the party that I would have been tempted to say, "Here's my cell! Call Bob about moving the party right now! And let me know how the conversation goes."
I won't quote but I know who you are referring to know that you spelled it out. On the show they made it seem like she really was a visitor. But I also stopped watching half way through. It got boring.
dear god it was boring.
It really was boring. I kinda felt bad for the H in that family, but not too bow since he was enabling the crazy.

I can't imagine selling a house and expecting Bob Newowner to keep all of my stuff, in my closets as I'd left it. Even if it is to a friend, I expect them to get rid of my junk. Will she lose it when she realizes her stuff isn't there?
This is one of those things that's hard to tell. She's either incredibly self-absorbed and entitled or has some kind of issue that's affecting her social and reasoning skills. It doesn't make sense that she would assume her stuff, which she abandoned, would all be at the house she sold quite some time ago.
You said other friends have had similar issues with her in the past that you're just now experiencing? What other issues have they dealt with?
I kind of feel sorry for someone who's so socially clueless.
She doesn't really sound mentally ill to me, she sounds like an asshole. SueSue, I think if this were someone else on the board, you would tell them to distance themself from her.
Well, you're a better person than I am, because as soon as she would have told me we were moving the party to Bob's, I would have flat out told her that Bob isn't even coming to the party. So highly doubtful he would want to host it.

Sue, I'm giving you a quick side-eye here. More parties in 2015 is great. But, really? A party for the lady who burned damn near every bridge in town on her way out of it? You had to know this was going to be a disaster. Of all the parties to throw, why this one?
This person at best, is no friend, and is a self-centered asshole. At worst, she is profoundly ill. Be a friend to her to the extent you can and see if she can get medical care.
But I'd cancel this party. It has shitshow written all over it.
