Did /do you have a baby on board sign? I got one at my shower and (confession) I'm kinda excited and geeking out about it. Hubs is rolling his eyes and calling me cheesy ?. Is this just because I'm still just excited/so happy just to be a mom?! Am I totally cheesy, Or is this something others got a teeny bit excited about as a new parent ?
I had one for a few months. It came in a basket I got at my shower and my husband eagerly put it on the car. I thought it was a little cheesy but I left it. It broke eventually.
i have one that says "Little Packers Fan On Board" with the Green Bay Packers logo. a friend bought it for us. i don't think i would have displayed a regular one, but i don't have anything against them.
i also have a window decal that says "Muggle On Board", but i didn't put that up because i felt like two was overkill, lol.
Serious answer, I'm not a fan of them personally. I don't see the purpose--it's not like I drive recklessly all over town but then slow down and use caution around a Baby on Board car.
That said, if you like it and you are excited about it, display it with pride! There are tons of things to be excited about as a new parent and there's no right or wrong about it. Don't let the haters bring you down. I'm sure nobody else on the road knows or cares what my bumper sticker (which is a Phish reference) means but it makes me smile to see it, and that's the entire point.
I don't understand the point of them. For a second I thought they were to notify first responders in the event of a accident, but clearly that suction cup wouldn't stay attached to a window...lol
But if you're excited to for it! No harm, no foul. I'll drive safer around your car.

Nope. We accidentally bought a window shade that had this on it. We were annoyed by it and ended up buying something else. I think they are pointless and don't really understand why people continue to buy them.
I don't have one, but I don't mind them. Until the bump, I never realized that people actually got them with the intention of it making people around them more cautious - I always assumed they were just some sort of proud parent thing like the family stick figures or honor roll stickers (neither of which I have, but I do have a 13.1 on my car, so I just get judged for that instead).
I don't think I've even seen one in years and years. I didn't know they were still a thing. I don't really see the point, but of makes you happy, go for it.
NMS. They were real big when DS was an infant and seem to be enjoying a revival.
TBH, I more worried about keeping my own ass safe than I am the contents of your car. I don't alter my driving for the "Caution: Show Dogs" sign either.

If you want one, get it. I purposely don't have bumper stickers on my car so nobody make the judgement about things I like, in case I accidently make a bad driving move.
I drive a van - I just assume everyone recognizes the international symbol for 'I have kids'...
This is where I sit. We own two minivans; it should be obvious that we have kids lol
Honestly though, this is something I couldn't care less about. If you want to use a BoB sign, go for it! I don't understand the hate. There are far greater parenting issues to get worked up over.
