Oh, in regards to money- I'm assuming I hit the mega millions or something in this scenario. If I was solely depending on h's income, no, I would not like that.
I could but not if we depended on my H's income because then I would feel guilty. So if we BOTH didn't have to work and he just chose to (or also didn't work) then yes.
Yes. At this point I have no plans to go back to work once the kids are in school. Volunteer, and maybe start a side business or an Etsy shop, something like that.

Yes! I thjnn I'd rather work part time or volunteer parttime or start something new I've always wanted to do. I think I'd be bored if I had nothing to for years until kids.

Yes, but I would probably go to art/design school because that is something I've always wanted to do. And my law school loans would have to disappear or be easily paid off.
Abso-fucking-lutely. I can think of plenty of things I would do as a SAHW. I hate working.
Eta: FWIW, H and I have talked about this and he would be on board if we felt financially well off enough to swing it. He loves working and plans to only semi-retire and continue working in some capacity for as long as he can. I want to "retire" ASAP.

I would get a part time job.
Before kids, I worked and only had to pay a couple of bills and the rest was for me to spend. It was nice not having to rely on him for cash like now that I am a SAHM.
I'm torn on this issue. I would love to have more time at home with DS and to do stuff with him. On the other hand I finally figured out what I want to do when I grow up, I like my job on most days and I want to be here. So, I would like to try it with a "window" to rejoin the work force if I'm not cut out for the SAHW thing.

Hell yes. But then again, I'm a SAHM with kids in school. Maybe I *am* a SAHW... I'm pretty busy, though. I dont literally just "stay home". I am on the board of three non-profits which takes up quite a bit of time, do car seat clinics with two hospitals, and work per diem for the school district as a test coordinator. I do all of this because I truly enjoy it, I do test coordination because we need the money. I'd continue to be involved with the non-profits no matter what.
ETA: Ha, I also do property management. So yeah, I work super part time and volunteer and together that is probably equivalent to a full time job. I still consider myself a "SAHM"
