I so hope they both star in the movie version. I think Idina would be down, since she reprised her role of Maureen for the Rent movie (as did most of the cast).
I knew you'd come in her to crap on my love for this. I knew it.
I should've stayed out, you are right. I will refrain, in the future, from making any comments on it, by you or others.
You cannot help yourself when it comes to theater. If someone mentioned going to see a local high school production of Our Town, you'd be like "ugh, trite."

I saw them both in it on Broadway when I was 13. Every subsequent performance of Wicked I've seen has paled in comparison.
I remember closing my office door to read the book during lunch. I got the book the week it came out. Off to eat my prunes and yell at the kids on my lawn. (I haven't convinced myself to see the Into the Woods movie yet because I saw the original production on Broadway with Ms. Peters and I know it won't come close to that.)
I've never seen the show, only listened to it on SiriusXM On Broadway. This makes me very sad:( And I didn't have money to go when it was a the Kennedy Center:(
Yes they are. I'm still bummed that I didn't get to see Wicked with them in it. I've seen it twice, once on Broadway and once in DC and nope, nowhere close from what I've heard.

I never saw ITW on Broadway, but I watched a taped version (probably from PBS?) of it with the original cast probably 800 times when I was a little kid and while it was different, they actually did a pretty good job with the movie.
