TMI: DS has taken to only having 1 to 2 BMs per day. He's currently working on one in his bouncer and it sounds disgusting. At least it's now and not at his pediatrician appointment this afternoon. Ugh, now I have to change him. Why can't he save this for DH?
Argh! You know in my last post where I said there was school today? That was only partly true. Dismissal is now two hours early due to impending weather.
Sunday my oldest brother texted me, "Do you have any free evenings this week? I'd like to talk to you about something." We set up for tonight but because the weather is bad, he canceled.
I hate the fucking theatrics. Just tell me wtf you want to talk about so I don't stress about it all week! Did I piss you off? Is someone terribly ill? Do you need money that we don't have to give you? WHAT IS IT???
Somehow in fixing my computer for this one system, an error occurred. I hope it can be reversed and my customer doesn't have to go back in and re-do something.
Bragplaint- it's going to be 80 here so I want J to wear shorts to daycare. He looks redic because shorts are so long on his stumpy legs. Does anyone make short boys shorts
I'm not help, but I have the opposite issue with DD. She is almost 6 months, but her waist is tiny, and she has long legs already. We bought her shorts in 3 month to fit her waist, but my H says they are Daisy Dukes on her. I think my kid just doesn't need pants/shorts for the summer. She is young enough, right?!
I have chubby short babies, so the opposite problem, but no pants was totally my solution last summer. This summer I'm thinking the same, but probably more dresses
Neighbor friends have said they're attending DS b.day party, and will bring their 1-mos old. (They have an older DS too). She is nursing - I have no reservations whatsoever about her nursing wherever she is comfortable. But I also thought to tell her she's welcome to use DS's nursery and glider if she would like.
Whatever she's comfortable with is fine - I just thought I should offer the option. That won't seem like I'm telling her she CAN'T nurse anywhere else, right?
My family finally picked a weekend to celebrate my grandma's 90th birthday so we were able to buy plane tickets. It'll be our first flight needing to fly with car seats. What a pain.

Being offered a comfy chair is always okay, in my opinion.

definitely. It was nice to have somewhere quiet to nurse the baby if it was an option. I would just tell her "Hey, if it's easier you can go to DS's room where there's a glider. Second room on the left!" and just leave it at that. I'm sure she'll appreciate the offer.
We narrowly avoided being sent to children's, he has bronchiolitus? I have no idea how to spell it so just go with me lol.
I noticed he was wheezing and retracting a bit so we were at the Dr office pretty much when they opened this morning. Luckily a breathing treatment in the office really worked so we're going to try an inhaler with a spacer at home first.
At least he seems fine for now.
Uggggggggghhh. Hang in there. I hope the inhaler does the trick.

I hate hot weather but I am looking forward to seeing DS2's little arms and legs all day. Every time I change his outfit and he's just in a onesie for 30 seconds I can't get over how adorable he is.
We finally ordered a new light fixture for our dining room, after hating the crappy brass one that was here when we moved in 3.5 years ago. It came today and I'm going to install it during P's naptime. H is skeptical of my home improvement abilities. I'll show him! Or I will electrocute myself and die.
Decided to take the morning off to sleep and hopecmy headache passed. Then when I went to shower the power went off. So this day is a loss. Can't even watch house of cards! Boo! Gonna have to clean
C just power napped. Like I said, "Are you ready for a nap?" She said yes, walked to the crib, and immediately fell asleep. For 10 minutes. Now she's in there calling for me.
All of @starry's Disney posts are making me soooo tempted to run the numbers on DVC again even though I know it doesn't really make sense for us right now. I am itching to plan another trip, though, and we definitely want to stay in a deluxe next time. DH really wants to wait until the new baby is 2.5-3, but that seems so far away. I need to convince him that we should go again sooner.
Somehow Disney thinks we are 61 days out instead of 60. I guess b/c of when we check-in? I don't know, but it wouldn't let me FP this morning.
Which means I have to do it tomorrow. Except I've got an all day work trip that has me gone from 7-7. Guess I'm setting the alarm to get up early. Ugh.

You can do it! Just remember to shut off the power to that fixture I REALLY want to replace our brass feature, but I am not sure what I want. What did you end up going with?
Since my day is now randomly chopped up I decided to stop and get lunch at a small Italian deli (Trinacria). You would never know from the outside of the building what an amazing place it is. When we walked in M gasped, "Mama, what is this place! It smell yummy!"

Nothing too exciting. This one for our eat in kitchen:

Um, March has 31 days?
Except for dining they let me do on the 3rd day of the month 6 months out. So it was weird to me that they are suddenly counting days vs just day of the month.

It's annoying, but I think she's right - they just do 6 months because it's easier than counting 182.5 days but 60 days is easier to calculate. Hope you get what you want!!

I have them in maple sugar and black. The manhattan flat is also awesome. CH often runs extra % off their sale too.
I had a terrible morning. Getting out of the house with DS to do drop off is tough. Then he slipped and fell on the ice. I then dumped spinach smoothie on him while trying to get him up. Left him at school with us both in tears. Stopped at the local coffee shop for an 8:30 am cookie pick me up. It helped.

I just emailed myself the name of this place for the next time we are up there. Thanks for the tip!
Damn it all to hell. I got the old fixture down and the electrical to the new one up only to find out the glass bowl part came cracked. So now I have to take it all back down to send it back for a replacement.
