C has been throwing huge fits when I change her out of her jammies. A threw a tantrum bc she couldn't wear C's Easter dress. It will definitely be interesting once they start preschool and need to be out of the house by a certain time.
I'm disappointed with the HA on zulily right now- I wanted to pick up a pair of the boyfriend jeans but they didn't have the size I need... which is probably just as well bc we've been averaging one package a day for the last 2 weeks.
He begged for one all evening. We said no. Then after he went to bed we were joking about it. We put one in his hand while he was sleeping, and took his picture. I posted it on FB with a caption "you snooze, you lose". Then I felt like a jerk and took it down.
But it was SO FUNNY. He's dead to the world after he falls asleep. (Bedtime, only. He will stir during naps.)
My dog has been barking (inside) for 20 minutes. OMG. He won't stop.
The yard guys were here and the dog does not see or hear well so he doesn't realize that they have been gone for 10 minutes (he didn't realize they were here for a while). I feel bad for him but geez. DD was up until 11 last night then I woke her up at 8:30 to try to get her more on a regular sleep/wake schedule and I'm just running short of tolerance.

I thought DS2 had a better night sleeping because he did two three-hour stretches in a row, but I'm realizing he still had 6 wakeups total. Geez, kid, good thing you're cute.
Confession: I think this may have had something to do with a secret diet coke she took. We got McDonald's drinks Sunday night, and I didn't have much of mine and forgot I left it on the end table. She then hid it in her art easel and drank on it all day. I didn't realize she had it in there until about 7 p.m. Oooooops.
I have to say I am really impressed with you DD stealth hiding skills. To keep it hidden all day and not give it way. I do feel sorry for you and your H when she is a teenager though if she is so good now
This is an AW- my dad is 77 years old and is sking six straight full days and my Aunt who lives here skis almost everyday for at least 2-3 hours ( typically the first one the slopes) is 83! I seriously hope I can do half of what they do when I am their age.

I don't know why I was possessed to go out for dinner and drinks with a friend last night after being exhausted due to DST because I am exhausted again today.
Ds1 has a fever. I gave him Tylenol and took him to school. I got home and started my computer to start work and school was already calling to pick him up. We have not all been healthy at the same time in months.
I'm sorry. It's definitely not fun being sick, but that's not cool to send your sick kid to school. People who do that are part of why you're always sick - you're basically purposely spreading germs and saying you don't care! If you are sick - stay home!! This is one of my hills.
DH's company has a new person dealing with payroll and whatnot and she is slooooooow. We still haven't received our reimbursement for last month's expenses so I'm going to have to transfer from savings to cover the Amex bill. UGH. pissed. And next month's Amex bill will be insane so DH is under strict orders to make sure she gets her shit together because I'm not covering a 5 figure Amex bill. SO ANGRY.

I really want to get out and enjoy the weather this week but I'm not sure I'm "supposed" to being just over 2 weeks PP. Part of me says screw it, I feel fine, but the other part says I should keep taking it easy for a bit. Hmm.
I managed to get 20k steps per my fitbit yesterday! I am barely sore today, either.
N was up until 10pm last night. So annoying, it's like we don't get any down time at all because we're constantly having to go in there and get him to lay back down. He asked H to turn the hall light on at one point and was just laying in bed "reading" books for 20+ minutes.
I used the Starbucks B1G1 free espresso coupon to buy two talls this morning and poured them both into my travel mug.
Congrats on the FitBit! I got 20K steps on Saturday but I'm still a little sore from it today lol.
It looks like DD is getting a top lateral incisor before her central incisors. She has both bottom centrals but the first top one is a lateral. I hope the centrals come in soon or she'll look funny. I hope the poor thing doesn't get my teeth - I had to have braces twice.
sjh722, I'm kind of cracking up at "secret Diet Coke."
Is this the toddler version of closet wine?
Yes. Easel Diet Coke.
(Her easel has 2 sides. It was perched in between the chalkboard and the magnet side, out of my line of vision, until after dinner when I saw her pull it out and take a sip. And it was nearly empty.)

I would. It was warm-ish the first day we had DD home, we took her for a walk around the neighborhood.

I walked around my neighborhood at that point but I wasn't really ready to go out until three weeks.
I was thinking of just taking a short walk to start with. Maybe I'll wait until H gets home and see if he wants to join us! Now that it's lighter later we can but that still doesn't give us a ton of time after he gets home so it really will have to be short.

did you have a csection?
I would definitely take advantage of the weather. Even with my first section, I was walking around the neighborhood within 2 weeks. Short walks, around the block, but definitely getting out and about and getting some fresh air. Or I would sit out on our little patio. Even with a vaginal birth, I would just take it easy - dont run 6 miles, lol, but try a little walk and see how you feel.
No, I didn't. I did walk around the store on Sat and had a little extra bleeding afterwards though. Wasn't a ton, but I took it as a sign that I did a little too much. I suppose it wouldn't hurt to take a short walk and then increase it later this week if I feel up to it!

Yes, take a short walk. It will improve your mood and confidence!
I can not speak to a human being at our local post office. All I need to know is how to get a mailbox key (our neighborhood has groups of like 10 boxes all together) and their stupid automated system won't direct me to a human.
I think your seller should have given you their key. Our old house had mailbox banks and so that was one of the keys we had to turn over to the buyer. Any way your realtor could check with the seller for you?
And the only way to talk to anyone is to go in. I hate the post office.

Maybe just walk for half the amount of time you did at the store? Can you eat lunch on a patio?
We have a balcony but I don't think our chairs are here. Trying to think of a place I could go eat outside maybe!
Lol, I get excited when our weekly groceries are under $200. (wilted)
Idk what $78 would be in Canada so maybe that's why yours are more?
Idk if this is helpful but this is what I did- -1 meatless meal/week -started using less meat/meal (1/2lb) -added in other cheaper sources of protein at meals to make up for less meat -cool the meat twice a week and use the other half for a meal later in the week (more of a time saver) -went to 4 grocery stores to compare prices -get organic dairy instead grassfed
WHAAAATTTT?
swizz what in the world do you drive that needs that much oil? a school bus?
H just found out he was selected to a school that is a year instead of 4 months. So we get to move with him! Yay for not having to do a four month separation, and then pack and move alone!!! Today is a great day.
