@mrswindycity, Target's website is literally the worst. I can never find anything I'm looking for on there.
I ordered a new breast pump, which was 100% easier than last time. (DD was born in early March, 2013 and the ACA provision that provided free pumps started 1/1/13, so no one knew what to do.) I have crossed off most of the items off my pre-baby to-do list. I need to buy another nursing bra (from Target, so it will require a trip to the store, LOL), make a trip to Costco for stuff I forgot the other day (coffee, butter, mozzarella cheese), and pack my bag. Which I am considering doing during nap time today. The baby is probably hanging out on the inside for a few more weeks but I am doing everything to encourage him/her to exit in a timely manner.
Update on the body: it's being treated as a homicide. Great. My H is flipping out since I usually walk to/from my car alone and it's quite isolated out there.
Also, someone brought their dog to work and left it in the car.
Anecdote: any chance someone dumped the body there after committing the crime elsewhere? My grandparents live on a rural county road and bodies have been found near-ish their house a handful of times over the years.

I feel you on the baby prepping. DD is coming MONDAY FFS, and DH is whining that "the baby to-do list keeps getting LONGER!" Well dude, I keep thinking of things we haven't done. Like installing the car seat and packing our hospital bag. He also still hasn't assembled the crib In his defense he is extremely busy with work and a family emergency. But I'm feeling like the lowest man on the totem pole here.
Every now and then a member of the PUBLIC gets transferred to me with a question somewhat related to my job. Despite the fact that it's really not what I do, I help these people and IT ALWAYS BACKFIRES BECAUSE THEY ALWAYS CALL BACK. This guy has serious balls calling me twice today when I spoke to him at length yesterday and told him I would look up info. Like what more do you want from me? I'm not your slave!

Oh man, that's terrible.
A few weeks ago I walked out to my car with my old job manager (we happened to be leaving at the same time) and he asked if I had seen the blood on the bridge. I gave him a WTF look and he said I must have been out on ML at that point. Apparently back in the early fall there was a giant pool of blood in the middle of the wooden bridge that crosses over the lake. I asked if he reported it and he said someone did. I guess the police didn't bother following up on it or anything. I'm willing to bet good money it's related. Security is acting like it is.
I've been thinking about the poor guy all day. He was so young. Didn't anybody miss him?
DD was dropped from DH's health insurance plan (surprise!) on 2/28. The government claims they never received her birth certificate, which I mailed last summer.
I have to deal with healthcare.gov which makes me rage. I'd rather just forget about them but because it's not an "open enrollment period" I am out of options. If I buy her her own plan it doesn't kick in until April 1.
After many phone calls to both the carrier and healthcare.gov, supposedly she can be reinstated if I send the documentation again to the center in KY. Of course, that is what I did LAST SUMMER, so I have zero confidence that it will help anything.

So I just had poop aaall over my hands for the first time. Probably not the last. How much can one little person go? I thought he was done but apparently not. It got all over the changing pad liner. Paternity leave needs to be a thing because not only did that happen, E has been on an eating/screaming cycle for a while now. He's content laying on me right now but idk how long that will last. I need to pump and do a few things that I can't really do with him in my arms!
DH's company has a new person dealing with payroll and whatnot and she is slooooooow. We still haven't received our reimbursement for last month's expenses so I'm going to have to transfer from savings to cover the Amex bill. UGH. pissed. And next month's Amex bill will be insane so DH is under strict orders to make sure she gets her shit together because I'm not covering a 5 figure Amex bill. SO ANGRY.
Is this his corporate Amex or your personal? H just lets the corporate one ride until he gets it (so does everyone else. If it's your personal, ouch!

How does that work? With my corporate Amex the terms were made pretty clear that ultimately I am responsible for the charges on the card and therefore I think it can affect my credit score. So how do you just let it go unpaid, do you pay the minimum out of pocket or something?
From the files of when GBCN and IRL collide, I saw a fellow LA nestie on my morning commute! LOL, insominac , that was me honking at you as you turned onto Overland.
lol - what were you doing over there?? I was probably half asleep or eating my breakfast candy bar. I'm a totally oblivious driver. I wish we could have had breakfast together.

Uh oh, I'll have him check his credit report. I don't think it's ever been over 30 days, but you never know. We usually aren't this dumb!

Our personal. He does have a company card but I'm not sure what the deal is with that. He co-owns the company, though, so it's not like he can complain to anyone other than himself (and the new person in charge of reimbursements, though he says it's more just that she's getting caught up and not that she's particularly slow). He's also going to stress that she needs to prioritize next month's reimbursements.
