We will not hear any more about the NA theme. Not beacuse of lazy writing, but because that was not what was important in the speach given to Morgan. The part about a bounty was.
The Wolves are one of the Saviours/Negans groups that they do business with. Negan lines his community with walkers for protection. He pays the Wolves per walker. Rick and Co will take out the Wolves. Negan will send another group to take revenge. Rick and Co will take out that group. Negan will then come himself.
I see season 6 being the fight between Rick and the two groups, one for each half season. Season 7 will be Negan.
* not really my theory, but I have read it and agree
The season finale was okay, but I think I've lost interest for good in this show. I just don't see myself waiting on pins and needles for the next season like I am with some other shows. I kind of just don't really care what happens to these characters anymore.

I can see this happening.
I don't remember the bounty part of the speech though?
I've stopped looking into the show for any sort of deeper meaning. I mean, it's a zombie show based loosely on a comic book. Sometimes a shaved head is just a shaved head, you know? They've stuck to some pretty formulaic things which also annoys me - killing people off who represent even a smidge of hope (Beth, Noah, Reg), and all the AA characters as soon as another one comes into the picture (T-bone, Bob, Tyrese, Noah). I've enjoyed it a lot more since I stopped taking it seriously.
This probably has nothing to do with nothing, but after seeing Morgan fighting at the beginning, my first thought was, Michonne has the same fighting style with her sword.....
I am dying to know what event (referenced in TTD) turned Morgan from a guy on the brink of insanity to a guy who spouts "every life is precious" in the ZA. I was surprised he didn't kill the two "wolves" after they threatened him, but I think the fact that their gun wasn't loaded had a lot to do with it. Is there only 2 or 3 of them? There's an awful lot of W's on walker foreheads if that's the case.
I wonder why Daryl didn't ask Aaron why the group got exiled - I'd sure want to know, if I was the new group.
I think there's got to be more, but not hundreds. Maybe a dozen or something?

I have seen a few people say this and, with the exception of GoT, I don't feel this way about any show (Maybe OITNB, but that is binge watchable). So, I need to know what these shows are? Don't say Mad Men. I've tried, but meh

ETA: forgot Bob.
you know, the analyst in me loves to go all meta on shit and more often than not, i have to set back b/c the bold is so true.
there are only so many shows that are actually that profound and TWD aint no Mad Men or Breaking Bad. more often than not, most shows lack the depth needed for great analysis
My love of the show never had anything to do with deeper meaning. I enjoy the suspense, knowing many times our heros will prevail (Rick biting someones throat or Darryl and Aaron being saved by Morgan) yes it is often all too convenient, but also having major characters die leaves you guessing if this is the time when we loose another one. I am okay with taking a leap here or there to further the story. I also like seeing how the characters change through their experiences. Each character has a bit of what is needed to survive a ZA, but hey cannot make it alone.
It comes down to the fact that it entertains me for an hour every week. I like that we have the comics to look to for possible future story lines. I also like that they don't follow the comics exactly and can still keep the die hard comic fans on their toes.

I re-watched a lot of the earlier episodes during the recent season break (shut up), and there were TONS of dead bodies lying around that were clearly dead people, but who weren't turning. Remember Rick leaving the hospital, and there were hundreds of bodies in back of the building?
So at some point, dead bodies turning on their own became a thing. Was that ever explained?
I just re-watched the very first episode a couple of days ago, and it looks like every body on the ground at the hospital had some sort of injury to its head. I was assuming that they were all shot in the head. I remember a flashback scene at some point when they show military guys opening fire in a hospital.
I am so excited about the prequel. I always wanted more about the beginning stages - I feel like that is going to be very interesting.
My random thoughts - Carol's at the peak of how badass she can be. If she goes any further, I think she's just going to be a full on psycho.
I actually kind of thought Morgan was leaving them for dead. I thought he left the front car door open after honking the horn.
Maggie pissed me off. She didn't know it was resolving well at the meeting, she should have hauled Gabriel's ass there mid-breakdown and been like "THIS is who you're believing??"
YES! omg. Let's just sit around and hold hands all kumbaya with this idiot, while the rest of the townsfolk decide whether or not to kick you all out. I have no sympathy at all for Gabriel, crisis of faith or not. Pull yourself together, asshole.
