I slept in until 8! And ds is still sleeping, I don't think he's ever slept in this late. I was getting worried so I went in to check on him and he lifted up his head, looked at me and turned the other way. Ok kid! I'm on the couch with coffee catching up on Southern Charm.
H has croup, again. The plus side is the last time she had it we were in the hospital with R and grabbed her a bunch of masks. So far she's complying and pretending to play Doc McStuffins.

Crap! We were on our way to swimming lessons and when he was backing out, H ran over the edge of our front stairs and punctured the tire. That means no swimming lessons, no WW meeting for me, and no zoo! Luckily we were able to get an appointment for 1:00 this afternoon so we'll be able to go to the zoo tomorrow. Sucks that today is a write off though.

H and son took a trip to the hospital lab this morning. We had been procrastinating on H's 2nd post vasectomy sample and on my son's 2 year blood work.
DS did well with the blood draw, much better than last year. Hopefully the semen sample is all clear this time.
I feel like the board has kind of sucked over the past few days. I hope it gets more light hearted again.
I love how you said April 25th is supposed to be perfect, deej. My daughter, E, is one today! Can't believe it. I don't post her pic here, so probably won't do an AW post, but it's tempting. She's so amazing! And I'm having all the feely feels bc it's going by quickly, all the labor and delivery memories are on my mind, etc.
My husband and I are enjoying breakfast alone while she naps, and then we'll have a busy day of errands bc out-of-town family is coming for a little party tomorrow. Since today is her actual birthday, I really want to make time for some fun, too. Wanted to take her to the park to try the swing for the first time, but it's really chilly here.
And @vicmo, I didn't realize about your TTC plans. Woohoo!

I'm on day 3 of a sore throat, and now I think I've developed laryngitis. Of course, DD keeps bringing books over to me to read to her. Counting down the hours to nap time; hopefully H will be home from work before she wakes up so she can be his responsibility and I can curl up in bed.
Is it acceptable to put our patio furniture out when the highest temp in the upcoming forecast is 60 and it's only 40? I hope so because I bought a new patio rug and it's sitting in the house taunting me and we need to clear out the shed for seed starting.
It's gross and rainy here too. H took DD1 to the store to get donuts. DD2 is crying unless she's being held, so I am curled up on the couch with her.
I have to run up to the office to meet someone to sign a paper at 10. I should probably find something else to wear so I don't look quite so scary, lol.
I'm about to take P with me to go spend $$$ on nice nursing bras. It's silly but I think having well supported boobs will make me feel much better about myself.
DD and DH are at swimming lessons, then swinging back by here to pick me up to go to a bday party. I need to shower and wrap the gifts...5 more minutes.
I'm so tired of birthday parties. We've had a ton this month.
No plans for the rest of the day, supposed to get up to 70. Should probably plant the $120 in plants we bought yesterday

I don't think that's silly at all. I'm tired of wearing sleep bras and stretchy daytime lounging bras!

We have my niece's party tonight.
Both of my SILs do the exact same menu every time. 4 pizza hut pan crust pizzas, one cheese, one sausage, one pepperoni, one supreme. There's never enough pepperoni pizza, and one family is always super late and the pizza ends up dried out and yucky.
And, the worst is when the birthday cake flavor is banana. Banana is for bread, not cake.
And my nieces and all the adults will be trying to pass the baby around all night, which drives me nuts because you end up with a cranky, overstimulated newborn who spits up everything she eats. (And I feel like the bad guy all night when all the kids keep wanting "one more turn" and my SIL keeps saying, "Well, it's okay with me if it's okay with Auntie Sarah!" No. Just shut it down. They don't need to pass the newborn all night.)
I got roped into a stupid MLM party this afternoon because I'm too much of a pushover. I'm currently wallowing in self-hatred in my bed while H and N go to Home Depot. I can't even enjoy my alone time because I'm dreading it so much. And there will be no booze. *sob*

Not silly and they totally will!
I spent a small fortune on new bras after all my kids and am about to again now that I think I'm back to a longer term stable weight. I have a lot less back/upper shoulder pain in decent bras too and my boobs are just average.
Everything just feels so much better and looks so much better. Even Target T-shirts.

Plain sausage pizza is the worst thing EVER! Ick.
No freezer beef?
Stick DD2 back in the carseat and tell the kids it's naptime!
My husband's boss was an ass to me on Friday. DH and I were going on our first date since the baby, so I did my makeup slightly different than I normally do and his boss made some negative comments on it in front of everyone. DH defended me, which made me feel even worse that he had to be in that situation. It was the Glinda palette from Urban Decay, so not exactly crazy colors or anything.
It put a bad tone on our date and I felt really insecure. I just wanted to enjoy the evening with my husband and feel pretty. Not be crusted with breastmilk and in sweat pants.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to avoid the guy for the next forever. Which is difficult because I see him all the damn time.
The JBF consignment sale is here this weekend and I am trying to decide if I want to go. I can't think of anything DD needs but I know I'll spend money if I go so it seems silly to go. But deals!
I got a massive cold sore yesterday I was supposed to work last night but I had to stay home because of it. Unpaid. I am praying it is dried out by tonight when I am supposed to work again. We desperately need the money.

DS had his first soccer game today. He was very frustrated that the kids didn't just take turns with the ball. Thinking about it, soccer is against everything we've been teaching him which is to take turns and not take things when other people are playing with them. Poor confused kid. I think the snacks at the end were his favorite part.
I got back from the grocery store to find that DH put DD down for her nap early (30-60 minutes early). She did get up earlier than normal, so either this is a stroke of brilliance and she'll take two naps, or we'll be having a really grumpy evening because she napped too early.
I also want to throw out everything in my house because it is feeling so cluttered ........maybe I will just start with the 3 bags of clothes I have for goodwill.
This is me lately. Mainly because DSs closet is full of baby gear to go to my sister's. I might just drive it the 4 hours to her house one of these days instead of waiting for her to get here to pick and choose what she wants.
I solved my tupperware cupboard disaster by donating more than half of it. After I donated half of it a month ago.
I have bedding I need to do something with. It's all jammed in DSs armoire. I need it for guests so it's not clutter, but I have to wait for addition to get done so my LR closet is empty again and I can put it all there.
There's toys everywhere. My kids are both in between stages so I have no idea what they love to get rid of.
There's 3 sizes of clothes in my closet. Thanks pregnancy weight that's not quite gone.
And I'm usually great about donating and I'm not much of an over/constant shopper at all, so where does it all come from?
I'm going room by room& doing this. I just took about 10 bags out of the kids Art room & 3 bags of books out of the living room this week. My garage floor is already half covered with stuff to sell or donate. We won't miss a thing I'm certain.

The older kids and I just finished assembling the smoker. DH is stopping by the butcher on his way home from the gym. Hopefully tasty BBQ will be happening tonight!
Okay, I got two really nice underwire nursing bras for $100. The boutique was having their only 30% off sale that they have all year, so it wound up being a pretty good deal. They are surprisingly light and comfortable!
