My supply has rebounded ever so slightly but we're still pulling from the freezer stash daily for his daycare bottles. :/ Would you feel comfortable starting your kid on wcm at 11 months? What about 10.5 months? I'm not sure how long my stash will hold out.
1. DD is 6 weeks old. She used to poop 5-6 times a day, but now poops 2-3 times a day. Is that normal? DH is freaked out that he "never sees her poop anymore." He's luckily just missing the few poopy diapers.
2. DH is desperate to open the window while we sleep, but DD is in our room so I keep saying no. At what outdoor temp would you open the window with a newborn in the room? We have no fleece clothes FWIW, she sleeps in a cotton sleeper and cotton Miracle Blanket.
My baby only wants to sleep on his stomach. I know this is a no-no but would you let him in the pack and play with nothing else if he was wearing a snuza monitor?

We started between 11 and 11.5 months. I think it was closer to 11.
@simpledog 24oz is the "limit", but DS was often above that but dropped down to about 24oz around 2 years. Our pedi didn't care really, she just wanted him closer to 24oz.
@supergreen how cool would the house get? And yes, totally normal re: poop.

How old?
I'd do it in a crib before a PnP. We never really used our PnP (just at MIL's) but it seemed a bit more squishy/soft than the crib mattress.
Converting the crib-we have the option of doing it on a Monday where DS would get to ease into the conversion since he will be at DC for naps, or doing it on a Friday and go naps/nighttime. WWYD?
Probably important to note that he sleeps in a toddler bed at MILs and doesn't have any issues really, but he pushes back with me far more than he does with her.
My 11-day-old fusses a lot at night, while she is sleeping on her back in the Moses Basket. She breathes really heavily and sort of sounds like she is choking sometimes, but doesn't often spit up. Could this be reflux? Should I try having her sleep in the rock n play? During the day she likes to fall asleep on my chest right after I feed her and doesn't have this problem. We are going to the doctor tomorrow for her 2 week so I plan to bring it up then, but wondered if anyone here had any advice.

How old is he? Can he roll yet? If he can't roll at all, then no, I would not let him sleep on his belly.

I would do a Friday, that's what we did. I wouldn't want to deal with toddler bed shenanigans on a night where we have to work the next day.
arch01, I have no idea how cold the house would get. We'd turn the heat off so that we wouldn't burn out our old heat pump. So if it's 55 degrees outside, I would think our bedroom would be the low 60s I guess? Which I think is too cold for ME, let alone DD. But DH looooves sleeping with the window open, he'd do it in the 40s if I let him. Pre-baby, my outdoor temp cutoff was 50 degrees for sleeping with the window open, which was a big compromise (I would prefer 60, DH wants 40). It's in the 50s at night right now, and we fight EVERY NIGHT about the damn window.

I would sleep with the window open at 55. Low 60s is pretty comfortable for sleeping.
We have our ceiling fan on at night, and A is in there in a sleeper/swaddle/RNP. We've had a window open on a few warm-ish nights and she slept really well.
@supergreen I agree with sjh722. We keep our house at 61 at night during the winter, even when DS was an infant he was fine in cotton/cotton or just fleece. I love the cold though. I'm your DH in this situation
When did you start having your child sit in a high chair at restaurants or in the actual grocery cart? It seems like a lot of people say when the kid can sit up independently. My kids can sit on their own for a few seconds, but definitely not for long periods of time but are fine if they're supported.
When did you switch from the infant to the convertible car seat.

To settle this debate once and for all, I called the pedi, which DH has been nagging me for days to do. The nurse laughed and said she had no idea what temp was safe. She said "that's a new question! Congrats, I never get new questions anymore! I have no idea." She's going to ask the pedi and call me back. I'll report back
sjh722 and arch01, DD is also a MIRACLE nighttime sleeper. She usually sleeps 11-8! Yes, 9 hours straight!!! So I am very very reluctant to change anything about her nighttime routine, since she's already an amazing sleeper. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Especially for DH's desires

We started putting DD in the grocery cart and restaurant high chairs around 9 mo.
And we just switched to a convertible car seat at 10.5 mo.

We did the restaurant high chair and grocery cart around 10 months. When he could sit up unassisted indefinitely, he didn't need help at all.
We switched to a convertible car seat at 6 months. DS was 20ish pounds and getting too heavy to carry in the infant seat anymore. I had no desire to leave the infant seat in the car, I was happy to give DS more space. We'll likely do the same for DD.
1. How much whole milk is too much for a one year old? DS loves milk and still takes 4 bottles a day for a total of 20 ounces. This is actual cut down from his previous formula/wcm intake. He eats a ton of food too.
2. Best advice for teaching DS not to pull pet fur? I tell him to be gentle and show him but he just laughs and tries to bear hug the cat.
Our pedi said 16-24oz a day of dairy. DS has a cheese stick (1 cheese stick = 1 cup of milk), 1 cup of milk and 1 cup of yogurt a day.

I'm in a way ready to ditch the bucket seats but it's nice I can snap them into their stroller when I go to a store and they sleep. I'm curious what other twin mom's especially did.

1. Around 8 months. He was sitting really well by then. We probably could have done in a little earlier, but he loves it.
2. G is 10.5 months and not yet. H has a convertible seat our IL's bought us that he's had for a month or two but he's stil in the infant seat in my car. We plan on ordering a convertible for my car pretty soon.

1. Totally normal. She may even start pooping every few days; still normal.
2. If it's too cold for you, it's probably too cold for her.

We first put M in a restaurant high chair at 6 months. He was sitting quite well by then, but he just looked so small in the high chair, and we worried that he would fall out! We regularly put him in restaurant high chairs now at 8mo. He's still small, but he's pretty secure in the high chair.
He still hasn't sat in the grocery store cart because we still use the infant seat. I have no interest in switching to a convertible until he outgrows the bucket.

Me too. They are definitely getting heavy, but I'm nervous about transporting them to and from various places, especially by myself. Do I just use a stroller all the time or carry them???

When I asked the pedi his response was "nothing magical happens on the first birthday that makes them ready, so a little early is fine.

So cute! What is the green mat you have in front of him??

8-9 months. Right when swtiched from the infant to convertible car seat.

It could be mild reflux. I would make sure to burp her often (every delatch if you are BFing and every oz if you are bottle feeding) and hold her upright for 30 minutes after every meal. If it doesn't get better, you could try having her sleep in the rock n play.

And arch01, the pedi said "your bedroom needs to be 68-72 degrees. So it's way too cold to open the window." So that at least puts off the argument for a few weeks.
