That poor kid. This won't bring him back but just maybe the tides are turning.
I really hope this is the pendulum starting to swing in the other direction.
Six police officers have been charged in the death of Freddie Gray, Baltimore State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby said today.
One officer -- the driver of the police van -- has been charged with several counts, including second-degree depraved-heart murder. Another officer has been charged with several counts, including manslaughter and involuntary manslaughter. Two other officers have been charged with several counts, including involuntary manslaughter. And two officers are charged with several counts, including second-degree assault.
Bob McCullough good learn a lot from this 3 month in office DA. Such intergrity. She is from a police family and it was obvious to me she was disgusted by these actions. McCullough just want to protect an officer no matter if the officer was right or wrong.
Baltimore is fucked up. Everyone who lives here knows it. But most of us, even those who have faced the issues first hand, still love this city. This is one of those times when we can justify our pride. I don't know what the long term outcomes will be, but this is a very good start. I loved Mosby's speech.
