Her hair isn't oily or stinky and she hates it. I don't see a reason to forcibly wash her hair. As for bathing, I wash my kids when they are dirty, but they generally aren't playing in the mud.
Do your kids otherwise comply with other tasks that need to be done to maintain good hygiene? Brushing teeth, nail clipping, etc.? DD doesn't always want to brush her teeth, but it gets done whether we have to do it the easy way or the hard way.

I use gentle soap and some nights no soap at all. Plain Ivory when I do use soap. Sometimes the Aveeno oatmeal bath. Baking soda sometimes. I also taught DD to shower with me quick pretty early on. Saves time I get her washed really well and she's only in about 2 minutes so way easier on her skin.
I will also ditto the Burt's Bees Lotion.
Is showering with toddlers feasible with only one parent?
I shower with my 2 and 5 yr old together, when I'm feeling too lazy to do the whole bath thing. So yep it's feasible.
Usually every day, especially in the Spring and Summer to get pollen/sweatiness off. I've used a couple different lotions but generally something that's sensitive skin and has a pump attached is my go to.
usually 2x/week. if she gets dirty on another day we do bathe her though, so I am sure in the summer it will be more, even if it's just a quick rinse off.
This is us too. His skin is so dry and sensitive that in the winter we sometimes only do once a week.

I clip their nails, wash hands and faces, and brush teeth with no major issues. I promise you, her head does not smell. I just double checked. Honestly, I only wash my own hair about once a week. I would do it less, but it starts getting oily and looks bad.

My kid sweats when he plays outside and his feet smell. He is covered in sun screen. His hair has food it in some days. I cannot comprehend how he could only get a bath once or twice a week all summer.
My kids have curly hair and I rarely use shampoo on it. I rinse it with water when it stinks or if they get something in it, which is most days since we're outside for 2-3 hours/day. But water cleans it just fine.
What's the worst thing that will happen if a kid goes several months with having their hair rinsed but not washed? This is a serious question because I don't know.
Nothing. Washing our hair is a relatively new thing for humans.
Probably 3 times a week. He likes bath time but lately he kills so much time outside after school and then sits at the dinner table forever so we run out of time.
He's not a toddler yet but he gets in the bathtub every night. Every other night we use soap. We use Aveeno. If he's had a particularly good hair day and hasn't gotten food in it, we will do a splash bath two nights in a row. That's happened exactly once.

Yeah, this.
My six year old gets bathed every day too, but she needs soap and shampoo. lol
LOL. I'm not judging the hair thing..and judging is my favorite past-time lately.
I'd want to think it's gross but realistically I shampoo DSs head like once a week if even. I just dump a cup of water over it and call it good because he has about 2 second time limit in the tub lately. He's clean. DD gets all the shampoo all the time because she has a lot of fine hair like me that's dirty an hour later without shampoo.
I also lived with my bff post college. She had the best hair and washed it like once every 3 weeks. She'd also go days without even so much as rinsing. She's the farthest thing from a dirty hippie you'd ever encounter.
