I think you're a vegetarian, right? How long have you been a vegetarian? How did you come to this decision? Do you cook meat for your H?
I eat seafood, so I think I'm technically a Pescatarian.
I haven't had red meat since 5th grade, so 1996-ish. And I haven't eaten poultry since 7th grade, so 1998-ish.
I never liked the taste of red meat, and my family ate SO MUCH steak and bacon. I just told my mom one day that I would never eat it again, and I haven't. I stopped eating poultry after reading a book about vegetarianism my dad bought me, it made me feel bad to eat chickens, so I gave it up too.
H is the cook in the family, if he is sick I would offer to cook meat for him, but I would probably overcook it. He knows this, so he doesn't ask, nor does he want me to try.

How non-meat are you? Strict vegan? Strict vegetarian (no chicken broth, fish, etc.). Fish is OK? How long?
Why?
Just answered these (see post above) I eat seafood/fish and lots of dairy. I don't ask if certain things have chicken stock in them at restaurants any more, it took away too many options. So I'm not very strict.

Does DH eat meat? If so, is this a problem? Who cooks?
H loves meat, he usually will cook a meal and will mix meat into it after dishing my portion out. Or we'll cook our own dinners. SIL is a vegetarian, so after growing up and sharing meals that way with her, he's used to the situation now.

When you were growing up did you ever want to change your first name? I used to have a hard time with pronouncing the letter "R," which is in my first name. I really didn't like not being able to pronounce my name then, that's the only time I wish I had a different name.
