We're going to the library for a kindergarten prep thing this morning. Then my babysitter is coming around noon. She hasn't been here for two weeks and my house is trashed. I have about 12 loads of laundry to work on, I want to strip all the beds and clean the bathrooms. I love walking into a weekend with all the basics clean. It's gross outside so I think I'm going to have her do crafts with the kids. I'm hoping to go to the gym later since I'm in a fitbit daily challenge with MMM friends, we shall see.
I've yet to be emailed the gift cards from my in store pick up of all the diapers at Target on Tuesday. Anyone else have a delay?
We all slept so much better last night. DD2 woke twice to nurse, but went right back down with no incident both times. Thank goodness. I really needed it since I almost left her on the side of the road yesterday lol.
My mom is coming over for lunch today. I'm glad she's coming but I'm mentally preparing for repeat stories about ailments or obscure friends of friends for the afternoon.
I almost went crazy last night. All 4 of us are sick, it's god awful. DS woke up at 4am when his ibuprofen wore off. So he was restless in bed while the new dose kicked in. I laid there in bed, listening to DS's bed go "SQUEAK SQUEAK" and DH go "SNORE SNORE" and poor stuffy DD go "WHEE WHEE" as she breathed through her nose. And I was like
It's DC day for the kids. It' my morning off from farm chores since my herdsman switched from night to morning shift because he's leaving for a wedding. I'm going to hang around my house in silence and clean all the things.
This afternoon I really have to mow our lawn. Our lawn mower had a break down two weeks ago and it took forever to get the part. It's a jungle out there. People on the gravel are talking on the driveby nightly crop tour. I'm a consistent once a week mower otherwise!

It's my birthday! I'm 29 (for the first time). I took the day off work and am celebrating with my MFM appointment and progesterone shot, lol. Then my parents are taking us to Texas de Brazil for dinner where I will attempt to eat the baby's weight in steak and lobster bisque!
I was a combo feeder as well from 6-12 months. It saved my sanity. Someone on here posted that formula is one of many foods DS will eat in his life and it really hit home.

Last full day of vacation. I love my kid, but omg she needs the structure of daycare. We're all going mad. And it's not like she isn't getting energy out between the beach and pool, but she needs the mental parts of daycare too.
After another defiant breakfast I cut off all screen time for the rest of the day. She was getting far too pushy about watching stuff.
DH thinks I am crazy b/c I am going to wake up the kids early so I can make it to my gym class. Early=8:30am. We are so screwed when school starts again. And for anyone that thinks I'm rubbing it in, it took 9 years to get to this point. My early risers have finally learned that sleeping in is awesome. That and they are sneaky and read until 10 at night.
We leave for rapid city next week- I am dreading 9+ hours on the road. The girls have been refusing their stroller lately too, so that will make visiting any attractions interesting.
I got home from a concert at midnight last night and still had to get up for work at 5:30. SO TIRED. Even C didn't want to get up this morning. I went in to get him and he snuggled under his blanket and shook his head when I reached for him.
It's raining. Again. I'm going to get myself an ark.
Not many plans this weekend, I need to go through my closet/clothing to find the stuff that fits and stash the stuff that doesn't right now. It's too depressing.
Also I'm going to get myself a fitbit and join the challenge. Can't hurt.

We were just there and didn't have a stroller, do you have a backpack? Ds was happy to ride on daddy's back at Mt Rushmore. Also there are lots of stairs there so a stroller would be a pita IMO. It was a great stop though, have fun!
The girls can eat so much. I do not understand where they put it. At barely hitting 20lbs at 15.5 mos, this morning they each ate a ww blueberry waffle with coconut butter, 1.5 chicken sausage patties, half a banana, several strawberries, and an applesauce pouch. This was after they nursed for 10 mins.
We're heading OOT tomorrow for a wedding. I'm still hyperventilating a little bit about leaving DS (and still needing to pack)... but no work tomorrow is making it all a little bit better.
DD went to put on her dress shoes she insisted on wearing to DC. They do not fit. I need them for my brother's wedding next week. They fit 1.5 weeks ago...lol...I thought I was safe.
I tried DSs outfit on him I wanted him to wear (navy blue plaid button up with navy shorts) but it's an 18 months and just not working either.

We don't have a backpack. I think we are going to skip Mt Rushmore this time- H and I have both been and I think the girls will be to young to understand.
Did you go to Reptile Gardens? I think that and Storybook Island might be the main places we check out.
This morning when I dropped DS off at daycare his teacher and I were talking about what to put him in for naps. He has woken up dry every morning after sleeping all night so I'm really not sure about putting him in pull ups for nap but I told her it was her call.
But. I was going to pick up a pack last night just in case and then tell her if he didn't need them to use them if someone ran out or something and holy hell the fit he threw about not wanting pull-ups etc etc.
SO I'm telling his teacher this and she was like "really? He threw a fit? I can't even imagine that!"
Lol. Lol forever. Thanks for saving up all your jerky toddler behavior for home!
My mom keeps telling people DD is a fussy baby and it's bothering me. I think she's just a normal baby, but she is fussy compared to my unicorn nephew who never cries. Sigh.
Whoever mentioned the yoga ball for bouncing baby saved my life and my knees. Thanks!
