I know I'll get asked for a list by multiple relatives very soon. My mom has already asked, lol.
So...what age is your kid? What are you putting on his/her list? What have you already bought?
C is 2...she'll be 3.5 months shy of 3 at Christmas.
I have already bought the plush characters from Room on the Broom because I knew it would take a long time hunt them down at a reasonable price. I bought the Magnatiles on sale at Target and the Hape Mixer/M & D fishing game when they were on sale at Amazon.
Things on her list include: a dress up wardrobe, dress up clothes, Inside Out, a couple of games, and a scooter.
If she doesn't have them, get her the Disney Princess cupcake game and the Ariel game. Both are SO fun and honestly don't get boring when you have to play them over and over again.
DD will turn 5 two weeks before Christmas, so I have both birthday and Christmas to buy for. So far, she's getting:
Birthday: Shopkins play sets, figurines, organizer Doc McStuffins vet kit Palace Pets stuff
Christmas: Animal Babies Spirograph A couple of easy craft kits (I think bangles and headbands that she can decorate) Barbie stuff (I'm thinking some kind of wardrobe set and some clothes? I'm not ready to go full-on Malibu dreamhouse just yet) Board games
We also usually get her several books and a new movie for each holiday.
We'll probably ask grandparents to get a zoo membership and cleats/shinguards/etc. for spring soccer.

DD will be six months. I bought her two teethers/sensory toys from the Amazon toy sale, and she'll get the wrapping paper from her cousins' toys. Pretty sure that will be enough. I'm going to give the grandparents her Amazon wish list, which is all books. Hoping they take the hint!

I have a hard time with this because I have a fear of too much "stuff". Maybe someone can tell me if it's good?? So, this is what I'm thinking:
From Santa: -stroller for her bitty baby (she's getting one for her bday) -leap pad with carrying case
Stocking: -snoopy dvd -chocolate of some kind or a treat -make up brushes (like a little drugstore cheap pack) she sits with me at my vanity and likes to do her "makeup" too. But she keeps using my good brushes! -fuzzy socks ??
From mom and dad: -hape metal pots and pans to go with her kitchen set -hape gingerbread baking set -craft supplies (ie. puff balls, toddler scissors, glue, etc)
She will get clothes, books, and a couple other toys max from family. Is this too much for a 2 year old?? I was thinking of cutting out something. Last year we did less then this, but she is older and could do with some new toys in rotation. Her bday is in two weeks and she's getting a couple of toys from family then, however.
ETA: I am feeling like this is excessive seeing it written out. I think I need to adjust.
For both, PBK anywhere chairs, DS's died (7 years of hard use) and he still has serious love for it even though he is quickly outgrowing them. He would be heartbroken if we got on for DD and not him.
No idea what else for DD, and DS hasn't expressed anything specific.
DD will be 2 months shy of 3 at Christmas. I don't know what all we will actually buy yet because we are on a tight budget but this is the list of ideas I have for Christmas and her birthday so far.
M&D standing easel Daniel Tiger figurines Daniel Tiger nightgown Tool set Sneaky Snacky Squirrel M&D fishing game Mini trampoline Devotions book for preschoolers Doll stroller Vtech camera
My parents want to get her a ride on John Deere tractor but they are so expensive!
DS will be 3-1/2 at Christmas. I bought two of the Magnatiles sets on clearance at Target to add to the 100 pieces he already has. Outside of that, no clue.
He got a balance bike this summer, so if he figures that out, maybe a bicycle with pedals.
He still likes Little People, but I almost feel LP'd out. He has Noah's Ark, Zoo, Farm, Carnival, and something else, plus a few animal add-on packs, and the retro school house, farm and zoo boxes. He basically mostly likes any set with animals.
He loves trains when he sees them at the library's train table and will happily play there almost the whole time we spend at the library, and we inherited some Thomas stuff from DH's nephew, so if I pull that out again and he still likes it, maybe a train table or more train stuff?
Hey, my 14 yo just texted me that she wants these for Xmas. Cheap!
Don't kill the messenger, but these released today and sold out in hours. I stood in line at Disney store before they opened and didn't get a single one.
