We go to my grandma's, so I always feel like I should at least not wear yoga pants and a t shirt, but worst case scenario, it will be maternity pants, so still stretchy. Maybe a dress if I feel fancy that day.
The problem of coming to the post late, and not reading the replies since I'm on the ohine and it takes too damn long, is that I bet that someone has posted Joey's thanksgiving pants gif already. Haven't they?
Jeans and a cashmere sweater with my ll bean slippers. We host friends for Thanksgiving and I like to keep the attire somewhat casual but still want it to feel somewhat special.

Jeans and a t-shirt since I'll be cooking for 40-60 people, so it will be hot as hell. But it will be the t-shirt we had made when my grandpa died since Thanksgiving is so close to his birthday. It's purple, his favorite color.
I bought my first pair of leggings from TJMaxx - Steve Madden fleece lined? They were like $8 so we will see but my plan is to try those with black ballet flats and a longer cardigan with long blouse under it. I've never been able to pull leggings off so plan B is skinny jeans and boots.
I host and while we are a 'shoes off' house except for parties, I put shoes on before guests arrive so they feel comfortable leaving theirs on.
We do Thanksgiving with MIL, FIL, their kids & families. We live all over, so most people stay overnight Wed & Thursday nights. I'm often the only one who bothers to get dressed that day.
