I got in a similar fight with target.com. It did not end well. Eventually their CS stopped responding to me. They truly suck.
Customer service through sears.com once brought me to actual tears.
Word to the wise - Sears in store appliance sales is different than Sears.com which is again different than how their installations are handled. None of those customer service arms talk to each other - to the point that I was once issued a refund for an issue by one arm that the next department REVERSED because they didn't agree. Stay away.
OOOH, me, too. I haven't shopped with Sears in over three years because of that fuckery.
I'm growing older but not up. My metabolic rate is pleasantly stuck, let the winds of time blow over my head. I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead.
This kind of condescension pisses me right the hell off. I want to kick Sindhu in the nuts. Unless your question was "What formula do you use to calculate the delivery date estimate?" Which I kind of doubt.
A few weeks ago, I ordered sheets and pillows for DD and the guest bed on the website. They were having a great bedding sale 15% off, plus an extra 15% off and I needed it that evening. Sure enough, after spending 45 minutes making my choices and choosing in-store pick-up, one item was filled and the rest was cancelled. I ended up going in anyway and decided to go look (how could there have been a run on random pillows and sheets in the HOUR the store had been open that morning?) and, sure enough, EVER SINGLE FUCKING ITEM was there on the shelf. I filled my entire order myself, which didn't even require me to take the last of any of the items so stock was not an issue, and went to customer service.
The look on that manager's face...you could tell she was PISSED at the people that pull orders and embarrassed. I did have to show her my online receipt but she gave me all of the discounts in the end. I would have gone elsewhere but I had been waiting for sales on those particular items.

The sears.ca site was a gong show yesterday too. It took me all day and three tries to buy a pair of boots I'd been watching, never mind actually browsing to see if there was anything else I wanted.
But speaking of bad customer service, my dad bought a snowblower from Sears that ended up having one dead headlight. It took him over a year to get a replacement. He tried so many different avenues to speak to management in Canada and every time he ended up talking to someone at a call centre overseas.
Oh, Sears is one store I will never ever step foot in again. We bought a tv with an extended warranty and the bulb went out. They stood me up three times, and after a month of dealing with them every day on the phone I blasted them on social media. I received a phone call from someone there the next day telling me to go to my local Sears and they'd give me a credit to buy a new tv. Jerks.
How is like the 4th largest corp have such a shitty website and CS?
I honestly don't understand it. Except, I guess, that they don't feel any real incentive to fix things because people shop there anyway? I've gotta say though, target would get a lot more of my impulse online purchases if their site wasn't so shitty.
If their website was as easy as Amazon omg I'd be so effed! Lol
I have tried three times over the past year to do an in-store pickup for items that they say are in stock - all three fucking times, I got a text about an hour later that they aren't available and the order was canceled.
Seriously. Get your shit together, Target. Either don't offer it as an option or keep your inventory updated.
Sorry, Toledo - what a pain in the ass.
I ordered some snow boots using this method last week. pick up in store, they cancelled it an hour later. I thought what the heck, I'm going to go to Target anyway, and could you believe it? They actually had the snow boots in stock, and more than one pair. Did they even bother to check for me or did they just automatically cancel? I was so mad. But not mad enough to get the boots elsewhere.
Did you know Target's IT and data center is located in India? They are just starting to hire more IT in the US.
Just because a store is cleaner, has better looking customers, and less lines does not make it morally superior to Walmart. I'll never get why so many people are against Walmart but love Target when they have the same problems. Most of Targets goods are made in China with unfair labor practices, the employees have less opportunities for advancement than Walmart and are paid just as poorly.
Sears is its own level of Hell- I won't shop there- the last thing was a tool chest my mom bought DH for Christmas. It was missing a wheel. They wanted me to pay for the replacement and shipping. After much arguing and calling the credit card company. DH finally got the wheel.
I dropped the stuff I was trying to order on Target's site yesterday when it said there was a line WTF?!?!?
i'm trying to get the soapbox shampoo/conditioner right now and am on chat with Merlin, who just happens to be telling me that the promotion they are running for 50% off the soapbox items is valid on 0 of the 9 items. holy hell.

How Target keeps its clean image is beyond me.
Around here the people that shop at Walmart compared to people that shop at Target in general are different. I think a lot of that has to do with image. The stores are cleaner as well.
The children's clothing though is FAAAR better looking than the god awful Walmart stuff.
I bought something online to pick up in store and they fucking sent it to a Target over an hour away. I was pissed. They couldn't change or cancel the fucking order. I picked it up. They still haven't charged me and I kept getting e-mails telling me to pick it until the 29th because they only hold for 4 days. No activity on my red card either I'm not going to feel guilty if I don't get charged. I'll consider it a delivery charge.
Have you seen their FB everyone has the same complaints as us and no one is even responding. Proof that target gives no fucks. Hopefully they will lose business and change their ways, but I doubt it.
check kohl's! I had a similar experience a couple of years ago with the Doc McStuffins Get Better Check Up Center that was apparently made of gold, and kohls.com came through for me.
I did. Either they don't carry it or it's sold out because it didn't come up on their site.
Stupid beat dancing robot. You will haunt my dreams.

OMG, that is SO TRUE. It took me four days of dealing with Sears online, Sears in-store and Sears appliance repair to get taken care of. But Dammit, I did it.
I ordered a washer/dryer combo with a right-side washer. Doors can't be switched. I was assured multiple times it would be right-side. It came so that it had to be installed left-side. In dealing with them, all I wanted was to have my original dryer repaired so I could donate it to Habitat for Humanity ReStore (it only needed a new spring). They FINALLY came through with a discount on the purchased washer/dryer through customer service that covered most of the repair for the dryer I wanted to donate. I was pushy enough by day three that the supervisor for one of the three didn't even bother to answer the phone when I asked to speak with him but instead the person who answered directed me back to deal with another of the divisions, who finally came up with the rebate idea (one I had thought of two days earlier.)
Their customer service is still not accepting calls.
I wish I could just stop doing a critical portion of my job and just not give a shit and still retain customers and make money. Their business model is genius, really - they can treat you like shit and you still go back.

3:00 PM, still not answering calls.
I just want to price match my Target.com orders to Amazon's prices. The prices went up today already so I save less. I have a feeling I won't get through to do so before Amazon's prices go back up.

I know this is about Target (and Sears) but I'd like to complain about TRU as well. Their website is awful. They always have toys listed that are not available online. And also not available in any store within 50 miles of anywhere I looked. STOP advertising that shit, assholes!

Well, I just placed a store pick up order on target.com, I'm curious to see what happens to it. It said when I ordered it would be ready for pickup tomorrow.
