Well after DH and I saying how little E Has been sick she woke up completely congested, soaked through her diaper, and wanted me to hold her ASAP.
So I'm staying home with her today. This was she can relax and sleep and hopefully be fine by Christmas. We may run into work real quick if something gets approved.
DH was already off tomorrow, except we have a lighting appointment, but I'm hoping my parents or sister can hang out since it's over nap time.
Also, I feel like I need to fly @vicmo down to my house so she can explain YNAB. We are trying it again in the new year since we want to be more active in our budgeting but the whole CC thing is confusing. If we charge everything to it but then pay it off, why is it debt?
I woke up to my husband saying "I'm ok, but the car isn't." Someone stopped on a 2 lane highway to look at a 3 legged deer. It's wet and he couldn't stop in time. I have no vehicle, 3 kids, and a million errands.
We had a houseful of people working on our addition yesterday and had emergency plumbers here last night for a main water valve. I want a mimosa.
Last day of work until 2016! I've never been off this long during the holidays, so I'm excited. But also scared because 2 full weeks of N at home and no wine. Thankfully dh will be home most of it too.
DD came home with the "a child in your child's class has a confirmed case of lice" paper and now my head is super itchy and I can't stop being paranoid. I checked her head quickly and don't see anything, but gaaaaa. Here's hoping that the fact that I spray her head with anti-lice spray every morning and pull her hair into tight braids every day actually works in the face of a real threat.
I've had a killer headache for 24 hours now. Nothing is even touching it. Is it possible to die from a headache? Because I think my eyes might explode.

PT day 2. So far today he at least isn't holding the pee and is happier to be out of the bathroom. It seems like he is making the connection. We'll see how the day goes on..

Also, I was locked out of tapatalk/proboards this morning and got panicked about what I would do during all of my nursing today. Lol. It was back within an hour.
I am annoyed that my FIL shares all of my photo posts on Facebook. FB says that only people you are also friends with can see the posts, but someone I am not friends with liked both of them. I think it's because it's my profile pic and cover photo, but I am still annoyed. He doesn't need to share everything I post about J! MH says its so "other family can see pics of him". Uh, they can friend me if they want to see pics. I wish FB had a way to stop people from sharing your stuff. It's bull that they don't. I'm thinking of just blocking him.
Add us to the list of people with a pukey kid. DD made it to the toilet the first time, but not the second. New sheets and everything. Guess I'm staying home without pay this morning since I have no sick leave?
Today is the 10 year anniversary of H and I starting to date. Crazy. I remember how it felt like such a long time when my previous boyfriend and I had been together for two years. Ten years is an eternity!
I bribed my kid with the promise of peanut butter M&Ms tonight if he got ready for daycare this morning. Hoping he forgets by then, but his mind is like a steel trap, so it's unlikely.

My MIL does this with anything of DD! It drives me insane! It's made me extremely conscious of what I post about DD.
My MIL is basically a 13 year old AW when it comes to FB though.
Every time we watch Frozen I get madder. What a story-don't be yourself, separate siblings, lying, etc. Then Elsa gets all the glory and she's in the movie barely half as much as Anna.
I know kids don't get it, but I cry everytime during do you want to build a snowman.

I was coming to complain how dd woke up all congested, but seems like I got off easy. We sent her to school anyways because neither H nor I can take off.
Good thoughts please for my bully today! He's having surgery and I always worry.

You don't have to block him if you don't want to. When you post something in the lower right (next to the "post" button) you can change who will see what you post. Choose "custom" and them put his name in the box where it says, "Don't share with ____________".) It will keep those settings until you change it. So there is no need to do that every single time you post something.
That way he has no idea he isn't seeing everything you post!
Last day of school before winter break! Kind of stinks we didn't get the full two weeks off for Christmas this year but I'll take the 8 days plus weekends and not complain! Plus, my friends who teach in the district I live in have the full two weeks off but they also go much later in June than we do. It all evens out in the end.
There isn't a whole lot of learning going on today anyway. We have a jazz band and choir concert this morning for 45 minutes, then recess and lunch and then all of first grade does a big Polar Express theme where we read the book, watch the movie, and make connections between the two. Because they wear pajamas in the movie we have pajama day at school today. I love pajama day!!
E doesn't seem to want to eat in the mornings when he wakes up. This is a pattern I've noticed over the past couple weeks no matter what his sleep was like, and DH noticed too. He typically nurses at 4, 4:30 am, sleeps for a bit, then wakes up between 5 and 6:30 and wants to play, not nurse or go back to sleep. He even refuses the paci.
Is it normal for him to not want to eat first thing on wakeup?

My cousin's wife has been showing pictures of my kid and now my brother's kid to our estranged dad. I had to talk my brother down when he found out. So now I have a list of people that excludes her when I share photos (unless it's a profile picture, I guess), but she still gets the non-photo updates. Fucking social media is the devil.
I am ridiculously cranky for someone who is about to be out of the office for the next two weeks. I need to snap out of it.

My DS almost never ate in the morning. He nursed MOTN and then didn't want to eat so I brought a bottle to daycare and he would eat around 9.
Daycare is open tomorrow and then closed the rest of winter break. I'm off starting tomorrow and the rest of winter break. I don't think I'm going to send DD. As much as I would like to I also want to decorate Christmas cookies with her and stay in my pajamas as long as possible. She's a solid napper so if I have presents I need to wrap or other stuff to get done at home I can when she naps. I feel like I'm going against all of GBCN when I keep her home on my days off. haha

I know, I post a lot less that I would like to just because I'm sick of him sharing stuff.
I had cut out caffeine because DD seemed to spit up more when I had it.
Well, she was up partying for 3 hours last night, plus her regular wake ups. So looks like we'll be dealing with spit up. Because these last few Christmas presents won't buy and wrap themselves. Thank goodness DS is at daycare today.
DD has her one month appointment later. I can't wait to see how much she weighs!
Thanks to krystee's post, I picked up a Nextfit at Target yesterday for $140!
At the rate DS is growing, I anticipate we'll be moving him out of the infant seat much sooner than we did with petite DD, so it will be nice to have a convertible seat ready to go for him.
