It's a new year and I'm figuring out what I want to adjust and improve. (I like waiting until reality starts again so my goals aren't just "don't drink so much next time")
Give me your piece of advice for life, marriage, parenting little kids, housekeeping, whatever.
The only person that you can control is yourself. Your obvious, outward (and inward) happiness in life can inspire and influence others. You are enough. Unless you're an asshole. Eat more greens.
Housekeeping: pay someone to do it Kids: pay someone to watch them Get rid of half the toys, they only play with about 1/3 of them anyway Do a checklist for workouts, and PUT A CHECKMARK every time you do your planned workout. Like a little kid chart. Stickers could work too. DON'T LAUGH.
Oooooh and I just had an idea yesterday. We have a ridiculous amount of hats and mittens, so much that I sop end hours digging in the bin for matching ones for each kid. I'm going to buy one of those over the door shoe organizers for the front closet and put all the mittens in it. I'm so excited about my idea.
Marriage: you know you are right. He knows you are right. Stop debating it and arguing and move on. You won't be happier if he admits it and apologizes.

First thing I'm doing when I'm employed again. Short hair don't care!
Always depress the toilet flush lever to a count of 5 especially if you are out in public.
Did I tell you guys about our magical new toilet? The old one was a count of 30, no joke. This one? You barely press it and SWOOSHOOSHOOSH, BOOM. All gone. It's truly amazing.

Spend some time in the evening prepping for your next day. If I'm working out, I choose the workout and put it in my calendar, get my workout clothes out, make my protein shake, etc. If I have a morning meeting I'll pick out my clothes and make sure they're ready to go, and put my shoes by the door. Little things that make the morning less stressful.
Resentment is like taking poison and waiting for the other person to die. Let go of the resentment--it's not doing you any good. People are going to be the way they are. You can't wish their faults away. Concentrate on yourself and do what you can to make the world a better place.
"Why would you ruin perfectly good peanuts by adding candy corn? That's like saying hey, I have these awesome nachos, guess I better add some dryer lint." - Nonny
-Trust your instincts (with your spouse, your friends or your kids) -Make yourself a priority. You will be a better worker, friend parent or spouse if you are happy with you

I keep a sheet of removable avery stickers clipped to my fridge so I can date certain leftovers when we put them in the fridge. This avoids the issue of staring at two or three containers for coconut milk or baked beans and wondering how the eff old they all are
ETA: I keep a thin sharpie hooked on the sheet so I don't have to hunt for one.
When I find myself getting stuck in a routine, I make/ revamp/ review lists of goals: monthly, weekly, sometimes daily goals. These help me to stay productive when I have downtime. My phone's always right beside me, so I try to make it a habit to check my list(s). I may have originally heard of this idea here; it's been a couple of years, so sorry if I'm stealing someone's advice! But THANKS
