Another quiet weekend alone with the girls. I'm starting a job for the time being at my yoga studio, so I think my girlfriend/the owner will come by to go over all of my paperwork and stuff. DD has karate and basketball, and hopefully I can get a workout or two in. Watching the Broncos on Sunday, of course!
My dad died last week and his burial is tomorrow. It has been an emotionally draining week and still doesn't feel real sometimes. I'm flying back to the Philippines afterwards, so I'm spending most of the weekend on the plane.

We have icy roads and are supposed to get freezing rain/sleet through tomorrow night. Everyone is home today. I am supposed to run 18 miles, but everything is icy and the gym is closed so treadmill isn't an option. It's not supposed to get above freezing until Sunday afternoon. I may end up just skipping it and doing it next Saturday. I will have my 18 and 19 miles in back to back weeks. Is that a big deal?

I'm in the same predicament but I'm supposed to have my 20 miler this weekend. Will the gym open Sunday? I'm thinking treadmill is going to be what I'm doing.

bostonmichelle, gym doesn't open until noon or 1pm on Sunday and I have a Girl Scout meeting (I'm the co-leader) at 3pm. I could maybe do it Monday but that would mean practically missing the whole day at work, depending on how icy it still is (if ice keeps me from starting early). I'm so behind at work right now.

It will be a low-key weekend. I am hoping to swim tonight. Have my life insurance exam tomorrow, long run in there somewhere and maybe hit up the zoo or a museum. My parents will be in town Saturday night - taking H and I out for my birthday. Followed by a lazy Sunday.
I did 9 miles with some 800's and then tagged along with DH on his long run (7ish). The last 7 were about a minute slower than my easy pace, but that is still a lot of miles. 64 in the last 7 days. Take that Miami, lol. I am sitting on my ass all weekend with a few breaks for shoveling.

libbygrl109 I do have a chiro, not sports, but thanks for the suggestion. I didn't even think about seeing her for this. I'm at my desk stretching that area so hopefully it won't bug me so much.
Well, I slept through my alarm this morning, so I missed my run group and a run after work is unlikely with the rain. I'm headed out for drinks with friend tonight, although I don't think I'll make it to part 2 of the evening (kareoke at a dive bar 35 min away).
Tomorrow I have a run planned with my friend who had a baby in Nov--so far, we have been unsuccessful at getting together to run since she got cleared, so fingers crossed we can meet up.
Sunday is all clear. I'm sure I"ll have some client appts. scattered throughout the day--I have a whole mess of alterations I finished this week just waiting on people to come pick them up.

Tomorrow morning I'm planning on running 9-10 miles with my friend, then taking AJ to swim lessons. After that, hopefully a nap (please 8lb6oz newborn infant Jesus let there be a nap for me) and maybe dinner with my parents. And sister/BIL/niece if they're still in town.
