I will be shoveling snow and keeping a toddler entertained. Hopefully with full power
Full power on shovelling the snow or entertaining the kid? Sorry, I know what you mean, but I had an image of you in 4xspeed doing both of those things.
Well I wanted to run outside to start the day but it's raining here. Again! Every Friday for 3 weeks now. Ugh I hate long runs inside Then not sure of our weekend. It was supposed to be nothing but movies and earn foods as it'll be CHILLY here but we just had a death in the family. We are trying to maybe go to Michigan but with lady minute flight prices and all connecting flights canceled, we don't know now. I feel horrible missing the funeral too. I love my SIL and her family :-( Hopefully a long run Sunday if I stay here
I'm also planning on being a snow bunny. I'm at work now and plan to leave at 11. I don't know how I really thought I would get anything done with the snow storm baring down on up. I bought Mr. GT a snow blower, so hopefully he'll do most of the driveway/sidewalk.
I'm having a dental implant today, so I'll be on the couch probably through tomorrow sleeping and catching up on the DVR. I may go for a walk and run errands on Sunday.
Is it weird to admit I wish we were having a massive snowstorm? Maybe during the week though - the weekend is just inconvenient!
My plans are to lay low tonight with some pizza and a few drinks at home. Tomorrow we're going pseudo-house shopping and meeting some friends for lunch. Then it's a 17-er for Sunday!

Working from home today. We already have snow on the ground and it's currently sleeting outside. I have my first 20 mile run this weekend. I'm doubting I'm going to be able to do much and last weekend's long run was cut short due to stomach issues. How bad would it be to do 20 on the treadmill?
Luckily we are on the edge of the storm so only getting a few inches. I have an exciting weekend of housework and shoveling. Saturday night we have a birthday party to go to depending on how much snow we actually get.
I'll have to do all my runs in the treadmill this weekend.
Hoping our H&Fers in the storm's path stay safe. venice2007, sorry to hear of your loss.
This morning I just had a fabulous 5 miles- no wind, sparkly snow on the ground, very peaceful. I have a doc appt this morning, then off to work for the craziness of the day.
This weekend we're laying low at home Fri/Sat nights- movies, fireplace, wine. I have to work for a few hours at some point, and getting a short run in with a friend on Sunday.
I ran 12 miles this morning in anticipation of the storm.
I'll be snowed in with the rest of the DC area peeps. So drinking, entertaining kids, shoveling, baking cookies, hanging out with our neighbors and praying that we don't lose power are on the agenda.
The storm will completely miss us, which is kind of a bummer. Not used to seeing so much green this far into January.
We are still under a boil water advisory, so we will be headed to my parents' tonight to do laundry and have dinner. I plan to get in 3-4 while I am there since it's supposed to be in the upper 20s. Will probably head down there again tomorrow for more laundry and a little shopping at BJ's. Will probably do my long run there on Sunday, too, so I can shower there and turn into a slug shortly after. FX that everything will be back to normal by Monday as they are predicting.

Sorry for your loss. Hope you're able to make it for the funeral.
My vote is to be lazy tonight, but DH wants to do the RW Iron Strength workout. I'm scared b/c it's killer and I don't want my legs to be super sore for my long run. I also haven't had a rest day since last Friday, and if I don't rest today, I won't have a rest day until Monday. We'll see. Tomorrow is yoga, and I'll join DH for his long run (only 5-6 miles, since he is post stress injury). Sunday I am meeting two friends for 16 miles, then I have to fly to Chicago for work.
Watch people try to drive up the hill by my apartment and inevitably get stuck/slide back down. Eat the cinnamon buns my H bought. Do a puzzle. Try not to kill/be killed by my H after being stuck inside a 1 bedroom apartment for 3 days.
I plan on going CrossFit tonight and a hilly trail run tomorrow w/SIL if the trail isn't saturated by rain that is forecast. Sunday, nothing. I need to rest my hip.
I was walking in a parking lot and stepped on uneven ground which I could tell did something wonky to my hip. During yesterday's run I could feel that part of my hip hurting and this morning it's definitely quite aggravated. Seriously? Stepping a little wrong and I get this? So dumb.
Going to have to take a long lunch today and get in 12 miles before the blizzard. I have a massage scheduled for tomorrow but that's probably not going to happen. So other than that, drink wine, eat cheese and watch movies!!

They're closing the city/state offices here at noon, so an early start to the weekend for me!
We probably won't get more than rain in my neck of the woods, so two birthday parties tomorrow and then dinner with a friend on Sunday night are still on the schedule. Workout wise, treadmill and ellipitcal time for me.
They already called DH into work in anticipation of the weather, so he'll be gone
My dad died last week and his burial is tomorrow. It has been an emotionally draining week and still doesn't feel real sometimes. I'm flying back to the Philippines afterwards, so I'm spending most of the weekend on the plane.
We finally won't be getting snow or cold, so I plan to run outside and use my Garmin Vivoactive for it's intended purpose. I am hoping to do 5-6 tomorrow and maybe 4-5 on Sunday.
Non fitness wise, not much. I'm sure the usual errands and kid stuff.
I have my first 5k on Sunday! I'm not running lol! I signed up for a series of three. They give an award for most improved! That's my goal. Hopefully by the third 5 k I'll be running some or all of it!
