Curious questions to those of you who don't drink milk. What do you drink to wash down tasty baked goods? And what do you eat in your hot cereal? Assuming that you eat those things, that is.
What a weird and oddly condescending question.
First, I don't generally eat those things.
Second, if I did eat those things, I'd drink whatever the fuck I wanted with them. How about water? Coffee? Why does milk have to be the accompaniment?
Third, milk is predominantly a white European phenomenon (and a habit that these people brought to the countries they colonized). I'd wager that there are no East Asian or African countries in the top 50 milk-consuming countries in the world. In fact, a significant percentage of East Asians and Africans are lactose-intolerant.
I was reading a book once about 2 sisters from China and it discussed them being revolted that Americans eat by-products of cows. LOL. I'd never quite thought of it that way.
I don't drink milk straight, but DH does. I buy whole organic because it last forever or whole chocolate creme from a local dairy in glass bottles because it is delicious.

I answered "other". I don't really drink milk, but I usually use almond/coconut milk in smoothies, cereal, etc. If I have milk and cookies I use cow's milk, lol. C is lactose intolerant so she drinks lactaid or almond milk. H and the little girls drink cow's milk.

I don't drink milk, but sometimes I'll have the chocolate soy milk to drink. I use a soy based protein shake in my protein smoothies. I also like hemp milk.
DD and I drink skim and DS drinks coconut or almond. I recently made waffles with the almond and vegan butter (so I didn't have to make 2 different kinds) and they were delicious. Even DH (whom hates anything remotely healthy/different) loved them.

I'm sorry my question came across that way, but it was unintentional. I was really just looking for tasty alternatives to my milk habit and trying to expand the current conversation.
I understand that there are different cultures in the world and that most of them don't drink fluids that are meant to fatten baby cows, but I didn't foresee that asking a question about what else you drink in a thread about milk consumption to be offensive, especially since the question did not come from a place of judgment or condescension but curiosity.
