I'm beat. We're listing our house so I took the boys to daycare and spent the entire day cleaning so the realtor could take pictures. I can't imagine how we will keep the house in showing condition with a preschooler and a toddler.
I'm thinking wine and a yoga video tonight.
I plan to have the same exact day next Friday. I just have one toddler to corral but I'm already exhausted thinking how many more chores I need to add to my daily list to keep the house ready.
Made it to Friday night, finally. DH fell asleep putting DS to bed and DD is asleep.
I'm drinking wine & catching up on The People v. OJ. I'm embarrassed to admit just how much I enjoy this show. i was in middle school when it all happened and only partly remember the details.
My one month old is already 14 pounds and wearing clothes his brother wore when he was 4-5 months old. Whoa kid, slow down.
I feel like there have been a lot of us lately who have had giants compared to their first kid. humpforfree and me for sure. I think others too....
M wasn't a small baby by any means, he always hovered around 75-80th percentile for weight. I really should measure S's height because he isn't super chubby, so I think he might be tall. I don't dare buy ahead for him now.
Ugh I'm trying to hang curtains and some how sucking at it. DH doesn't care if we have them so he's no help. Crappy end to a frustrating day.
On the flip side, last weekend when I was doing lane's room last weekend, H insisted on measuring each individual panel and the heights of the hooks, etc for FOURTY FIVE MINUTES, just to end up using the marks I had already measured. Engineers man.

Oh we have the same husband. It literally took mine an hour to hang a picture at our condo. An hour. One picture.
And then, he put the little command hooks we use to keep shade cords out of reach on the wrong side of the window. (huh)
I'm sitting by myself in an empty restaurant waking for my husband who was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. I'm also having major doubts about the restaurant. My in laws gave us a gift certificate here, but I think they did so kind of blindly and it looks really so so, we'll see.
Had fun at an Easter event for little kids with glitzy07. Then we all went to McDonald's play place after. MMM would be so proud of us.
DH was in a weird mood though. Now that we're home at least he's better. DD is in bed, DH is downstairs with DS and I'm pumping.
We had a blast! When I was putting him to bed, C told me he wants me to play with spk926's H tomorrow so he can see their daughter again. Lol.
P.s. He didn't seem to be acting weird to me, but I obviously don't know him well.
Oh good.
I'm still laughing to myself that when I passed him T and a burp rag he was all dumbfounded like he couldn't figure out what to do. Take him, put the rag on your shoulder and burp him!!! Then I can eat with two hands for a minute. He's one of the smartest people I know, but sometimes simple stuff like that is not his strong suit.

The grass is always greener huh?
I wanted to hire the handyman to come out for 3 hours to hang 5 sets of curtains and 2 sets of floating shelves but DH insisted we could do it ourselves. Well he is being an ass about the curtains and now we have a hole in the wall because the curtains + rod was too heavy for me to lift into all of the hooks (or whatever you cal the things that the rod rests on) at the same time. I just want our room to look nice
Tbh I think I'm this frustrated because he has let some things slide around the property and it's costing us $$$. Like already at $600 + $25/wk to get the yard mowed + whatever it costs to kill the weeds and replant the grass he let die.

Boo, I'm sorry. This is how I ended up spending $3800 to have a carpenter do all of our trim, even though H said it wasn't how he would spend the money, but it's okay if I want to. He wanted to do the trim, but it's been two years of staring at unfinished doors, floors and windows. He wasn't doing it anytime soon (and I could honestly see it being 15+ years before it happened), so yup, hired someone to do it.
DH's plane just landed so he'll finally be here in a few minutes after being gone all week. Part of me is annoyed because I just want to veg on the couch though.
humpforfree Oh I already have someone coming out Monday to give a quote for the living room & dining room curtains and the floating shelves in the dining room since its been a year of them sitting in a closet. Guess I'll just have him hang the bedroom ones too.
Lol humpforfree - my engineer husband is that same with hanging pictures. It's so annoying when I just want it to be done quickly but I'll admit his finished product is great.
So my gym workout today was pretty tough and I kept burping. I had a salad from baja fresh for lunch. I had to slow down on the treadmill Bc I was legitimately afraid I'd barf. I've never thrown up from working out and didn't want that to change today!
Part of H's job means that if there is a liver transplant at his hospital or another one in the city he goes and picks up the discarded organ for his bank.
Tonight he left to pick up the liver that belonged to his cousin's husband. So it's a good night.

H got a MacBook from new job. He has no idea how to use it. So he brought it home to learn and is now sitting next to me telling me all about it. I DONT CARE.
